Rongxing Street

Rongxing street, belonging to Dawa District, Panjin City, Liaoning Province, is located in the south of Dawa District, adjacent to Liaohe River in the East, Yingkou City across the river in the south, Bohai Sea in the West and Tianzhuangtai town in the north, with a total area of 139 square kilometers.

In 1933, Yingkou village was established; in 2009, Rongxing town was established. In 2016, Rongxing town was abolished and Rongxing street was changed. At the end of 2011, the total population of Rongxing street was 15624. As of June 2020, Rongxing street has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located at 14 Xinglong Street.

History of construction

In 1933, Yingkou village was founded.

In 1945, the government of Rongxing district was established in Panshan county (after the withdrawal of the District, a state farm was established, which was called Rongxing farm).

In February 1958, it belongs to Dawa District Office of Panshan county.

In 1961, it belonged to Panjin District of Yingkou City.

In 1966, it belongs to Panjin reclamation area.

In January 1970, it belonged to Dawa area of Panjin reclamation area; in July of the same year, it belonged to Dawa area of Panjin area.

November 9, 1975, belonging to Dawa County.

In 1984, Rongxing township was restored, belonging to Dawa County.

In July 1997, Rongxing Korean township was established, belonging to Dawa County.

In March 2002, Rongxing Township and Liaobin Township merged into Dawa County.

In May 2003, Dawa established LiaoBin Economic Development Zone, and Rongxing and Liaobin separated, which is under the jurisdiction of Dawa County.

In 2009, Rongxing town was established.

In 2010, it was included in Liaobin coastal economic zone.

In 2016, Rongxing town was abolished and Rongxing street was changed.

At the end of 2011, Rongxing street has jurisdiction over one community and eight administrative villages: Rongxing, Shuangjingzi, Pingan River, zhongyangtun, Haibin, Xinkai, Tongjia, Yantan and sijiazi, with 45 villager groups. There are 26 natural villages.
