According to legend, in the Yuan Dynasty, the original name of West Caishi was caishizhuang. In Hongwu Period of Ming Dynasty, Dang and Du lived here. Later, some households moved from Zhili Zaoqiang County to Jiancun. According to legend, because the five hills in the west of the village "produce Lingshi, exquisite and lovely", most of them are colorful, so they are called Caishi village. In October 1956, eight townships in Caishi District, which originally belonged to Zhangqiu County, were assigned to Licheng county. In 1957, dalongtang township was set up. Hongqi commune (Caishi, dalongtang, Zhaike management area) was established in 1958. In 1965, it was called dalongtang and Caishi commune. In 1972, it was renamed Caishi commune. In 1976, it was renamed dalongtang commune. In 1984, Caishi district was set up separately. in 1985, the district was withdrawn to Caishi township. on December 20, 2001, the provincial government approved the abolition of Caishi Township and the establishment of Caishi town. The town governs 5 offices, 44 administrative villages and 53 natural villages. in 2009, the East and West xiaolongtang villages of Caishi town were put under the jurisdiction of Suncun street. on September 27, 2016, the people's Government of Jinan City, Shandong Province issued a notice approving the cancellation of Caishi town and the establishment of Caishi sub district office in its original administrative region.

During the Hongwu Period of Ming Dynasty (1368-1398), the residents moved from Zaoqiang, Zhili (Hebei Province) to Jiancun. Because the stones on the east mountain of the village are mostly colored, they are called dongcaishi.
Xicaishi is located 2 kilometers west of dongcaishi, with Heiyu mountain in the South and xixiaolongtang in the northeast. It has 1369 households and 5257 people. There are three villagers' committees of xicaishi I, xicaishi II, xicaishi III, xicaishi IV, xicaishi V and xicaishi VI. Lunar calendar three, eight Fengji. Dongxiaolongtang is located 2 kilometers north of dongcaishi, on the West Bank of Juye River, West Caishi in the southwest and West xiaolongtang in the West. 303 households, 1100 people. Dongxiaolongtang village committee is set up.
The origin and evolution of the name of the village are the same as that of the West Little Dragon hall. It is located in the East, along the East Xiaolong hall.
Mengjiazhuang is located 7 kilometers southwest of dongcaishi, with bailatan in the East, Kangquan in the West and jingziyu in the north. 17 households, 80 people. Kangjingmeng village committee was set up.
In the Ming Dynasty, the Meng family lived in Jiancun as early as possible and got its name by surname. According to the records of Zhang's tombstone in Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty in cunnan, Zhang Qing moved from Zhili (Hebei Province) Zaoqiang to rat (tree) Valley, gave birth to five sons, and four sons moved to mengjiazhuang. Later, although the family name of Meng had been eliminated, it was still called mengjiazhuang.
Kangquan is located 7 kilometers southwest of dongcaishi, adjacent to mengjiazhuang in the East, mutual ridge in the north and jingziyu in the northeast. 27 households, 100 people. It belongs to kangjingmeng village committee.
In 1736, the families of Kang, Li and Zhou moved to Jiancun. Because there is yanquanzi in the village, the name of the village is Kangquan. Later, the Kang family was still called Kangquan.
Jingziyu is located 6.5km southwest of dongcaishi, with bailatan in the southeast, mengjiazhuang in the South and xiyiwa ridge. 44 households, 126 people. It belongs to kangjingmeng village committee.
According to the records in the stele of Yang's genealogy in Cundong, at the beginning of Hongwu year of Ming Dynasty, the ancestor Yang's family moved to Yangjiazhuang from Zaoqiang, Zhili (Hebei Province), and then to yanglianyu, the 12th generation, moved to build the village. Because it is located in the northwest Valley, there is a well, called jingziyu along.
Liangchahe river is located 1.5km southeast of dongcaishi, on the North Bank of Langmaoshan reservoir, adjacent to Tawo in the southeast and Chaoyang in the southwest. 209 households, 764 people. Liangchahe village committee is set up. Once Caishi commune, township government resident.
During the Hongwu Period of Ming Dynasty (1368-1398), the residents moved from Zaoqiang, Zhili (Hebei Province) to Jiancun. Because it is located at the junction (confluence) of two tributaries in the upper reaches of Juye River, it is called Liangcha river.
Chaoyang is located 2.25 km south of dongcaishi, on the West Bank of Langmaoshan reservoir, sanquanyu in the East and Zhaike in the southwest. 114 households, 423 people. Chaoyang village committee is set up.
In 1623, Zhu was the first to move here to build a village. It was once known as tuwo. It is commonly known as Tutou village, which is named for its good soil quality. In 1958, Langmaoshan reservoir was built, occupying an area of land. The village was moved to the West Gaogang of the original village, which was renamed Chaoyang.
Tawo is located 3 kilometers southeast of dongcaishi, on the East Bank of Langmaoshan reservoir, adjacent to dalongtang in the southeast and sanquanyu in the southwest. 184 households, 680 people. Tawo village committee was set up.
During the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty (1573-1620), Liu and Chu families moved here. There is a tower in the northwest of the village. Because the village is built in a low-lying place under the tower, it is called tower nest along the village.
Huangluquan is 6 kilometers east of dongcaishi, adjacent to Yulong in the South and dalongtang in the southwest. 237 households, 747 people. Set up the village committee of Huangluquan village. In the east of the village is the famous ancient spring, Huangluquan.
During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1573-1620), the Li family moved here from Zaoqiang, Zhili (Hebei Province). It is named after Huangluquan, a famous spring in the east of the village.
Zhaike is located 3.5 kilometers south of dongcaishi. On the West Bank of the upper reaches of Juye River, sanquanyu is in the East and Nanquan is in the south. 594 households, 2142 people. Set up beizhaike and nanzhaike village committees. On the second and seventh days of the lunar calendar, there is a fair. On May 27, 1938, the Japanese invaders attacked Zhaike, killing and injuring more than 40 villagers. < br > it is said that in the Han Dynasty, it was called "den of Thieves". In the Tang Dynasty, Li Shimin exterminated the gathering thieves when he passed by during the eastern expedition. At the end of Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of Ming Dynasty, Dai and Wang moved here. Later, the name is not elegant, along the house.
Dongquan is located 4.5km south of dongcaishi, on the East Bank of the upper reaches of Juye River, fengluoyu in the East and Nanquan in the southwest. 197 households, 595 people. Dongquan village committee was set up. In the west of the village are the famous ancient spring, the East Spring and the Buddhist pagoda of Shuangfeng nunnery.
In Tang Dynasty, it was called Yinma Dongquan. It is said that Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, got his name after drinking horses here. During the Chenghua period of Ming Dynasty (1465-1487), Gao family moved in from Zaoqiang, Zhili (Hebei Province), and later called Dongquan.
Sanquanyu is located 3.5km south of dongcaishi, south of Langmaoshan reservoir, east of dalongtang and south of fengluoyu. 122 households, 415 people. Sanquanyu village committee is set up.
During the reign of Emperor Guangxu of Qing Dynasty (1875-1908), it was called siquanyu. I want to call it sisiyu. Zhang family moved from Zhangjiazhuang in Dongjia area to Jiancun. Therefore, it is named after the four eye mountain spring. Later, it was called xisiyu.
Fengluoyu is located 4.5km south of dongcaishi, adjacent to xisiyu in the East, Dongquan in the West and sanquanyu in the north. 23 households, 70 people.
