Qikou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Dashiqiao City, Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northwest of Dashiqiao City. It is adjacent to Ganwang Town, Haicheng City, Anshan City in the East, Huzhuang town in the southeast, Gaokan town in the south, Shifo town across the Laodong River in the West and Niuzhuang Town, Haicheng City, Anshan City in the north, with an administrative area of 123.21 square kilometers.
Before liberation, it belonged to Haicheng County; in November 1992, Qikou township was changed to Qikou Town, which belonged to Yingkou County; in November 1992, Yingkou county was changed to Dashiqiao City, which belonged to Dashiqiao City. By the end of 2018, the population of Qi Kou Town registered residence was 53532. As of June 2020, Qikou town has 26 administrative villages.

History of construction
Before liberation, it belonged to Haicheng county.
In April 1946, Yingkou county was established and put under the jurisdiction of Yingkou county.
In October 1947, Qikou district was established and still belongs to Yingkou county.
In June 1950, Qikou district was renamed eight districts, still belonging to Yingkou county.
In May 1952, the government of Qikou District moved to Qikou village.
In August 1955, Qikou district was restored to the eight districts, and its subordinate relationship remained unchanged.
In March 1956, Qikou district was abolished and merged into Huzhuang district under the jurisdiction of Huzhuang district.
Gaokan district was established in August 1957, and the territory was classified as Gaokan district.
In February 1958, Gaokan district was abolished and Gaokan township was established. The subordinate relationship of Gaokan Township remained unchanged.
In March 1961, Gaokan Township set up Qikou Township, which belongs to Yingkou county.
In September 1983, the township system was restored, belonging to Yingkou county.
In November 1992, Qikou township was changed into Qikou Town, belonging to Yingkou county.
In November 1992, Yingkou county was changed into Dashiqiao City, belonging to Dashiqiao City.
