Zhuangxing town
Zhuangxing Town, subordinate to Fengxian District of Shanghai, is one of the national key towns and nine new rural construction pilot towns in Shanghai. It is located in the west of Fengxian District, adjacent to the South Bridge of Fengxian new town in the East. It is one of the expansion areas of Nanqiao new town in Fengxian District. It is adjacent to Longquan port in the west, separated by Jinshan District and Songjiang District. It is connected with Zhelin town in the south, adjacent to Hangzhou Bay. It is adjacent to Huangpu River in the north, facing Minhang District across the river. Zhuangxing town has a long history and profound cultural heritage. In the Song Dynasty, it became a village with Yuantong nunnery in the West. It was built in the year of Chunxi of Song Dynasty. In the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty, Zhendong city became a small market town with the name of shengjiashe. In the early Hongwu Period of Ming Dynasty, it was named zhuangjiaxing because the Zhuang family moved in and opened Huaxing mihang.
In 2012, the town area of 70 square kilometers, arable land area of 55000 mu, river crisscross, is a typical Jiangnan Water Town. It has 16 administrative villages and 5 neighborhood committees. In 2017, there were 64459 permanent residents in the town. It has won a series of honorary titles such as national health town, national ecological town, small town with Chinese characteristics, national beautiful and livable Town, and national rural governance demonstration town.
History of construction
In the Qin Dynasty, Zhuangxing belonged to Haiyan County, Kuaiji County; in the northern and Southern Dynasties, Zhuangxing belonged to Qianjing County, Wujun County; in the Sui Dynasty, Zhuangxing belonged to Kunshan County; in the Tang Dynasty, Zhuangxing belonged to Huating county.
In 1726, after Fengxian County was established, Zhuang Xingdi belonged to shisanbao, Baisha Township, Fengxian County, and shisanbao, Yunjian Township, Fengxian County.
In 1911, zhuangzhang belonged to Xisan Township, Fengxian County, Songjiang Prefecture, Jiangsu Province.
In 1929, Zhuang was in the eighth District of Fengxian County, Songjiang area, Jiangsu Province.
In 1933, it was changed into the second district.
In 1937, after the establishment of Shanghai Avenue municipal government in Pudong, Shanghai, the puppet government changed Shanghai Municipal Supervision and Zhuang acted as one of the towns in Fengxian County.
In 1942, it was the second division of Fengxian special district in Shanghai.
In 1946, it was transferred to Zhuangxing District, Fengxian County, Jiangsu Province.
In 1947, it was changed into Zhuangxing town.
On May 14, 1949, Fengxian was liberated. The county is divided into six districts and one town, which is subordinate to Songjiang District of Southern Jiangsu administrative office, and Zhuangxing district is the Second District of Fengxian County.
In July 1957, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, and the senior community replaced the grassroots administrative village. The former Zhuangxing Town, Lujing Township, Yandun Township, Huayan Township and Pandian Township were merged to establish Zhuangxing Township, which has 19 agricultural production senior cooperatives under its jurisdiction and implements the township governance system.
In October 1958, Dongfeng people's commune was established.
In the spring of 1959, it was renamed Zhuangxing people's commune. Since then, the people's commune, which has been established for 25 years, has not changed.
In March 1984, the government and the community were separated, and the people's Government of Zhuangxing township was established to restore the township governance system and implement the system of township governing the village. Zhuangxing people's Commune will continue to be an economic organization,
In August 1987, the agriculture, industry and Commerce Union of Zhuangxing township was established to replace the function of the people's commune.
On February 9, 1994, the township was removed and the town was built. With the approval of Shanghai Municipal People's government, the system of Zhuangxing township was abolished and Zhuangxing town was established to implement the system of town governing village.
On December 1, 2003, Fengxian District town level administrative division was adjusted, the original Zhuangxing town and Wuqiao town were abolished, the two towns were merged to establish a new Zhuangxing Town, and the system of town managing village was continued.

After the removal of the second construction and the first construction in December 2003, xinzhuangxing town has 35 villagers' committees, 398 villagers' groups, 5 residents' committees and 13 residents' groups.

Zhuangxing town is located in the west of Fengxian District, adjacent to the South Bridge of Fengxian new town in the East. It is one of the expansion areas of Nanqiao new town in Fengxian District. It is connected with Zhelin town in the south, adjacent to Hangzhou Bay; it is adjacent to Longquan port in the west, separated from Jinshan District and Songjiang District; it is adjacent to Huangpu River in the north, facing Minhang District across the river. The town center is located at 30.5 N and 121.3 e, covering an area of 70 square kilometers.

Zhuangxing town is a subtropical marine monsoon climate, with four distinct seasons, mild and humid, abundant rainfall, suitable for crop growth. In summer, the climate is hot, with high temperature and summer drought after plum blossom. There are often typhoons, rainstorms and tidal floods. In winter, the temperature is low, the rain is less, the weather is dry and cold, the snow is frozen, the cold air often invades south, and the cold wave weather appears. From 1985 to 2003, the annual average temperature was 16 ℃, the annual average sunshine was 1919.8 hours, the annual average rainfall was 1221.4 mm, and the annual average frost free period was 234 days.
Geology and geomorphology
Zhuangxing town is located in the alluvial plain of the Yangtze River Delta, with flat terrain, crisscross river network and fist like shape. The land is high in the East and low in the West. The town is 6.41 km long from east to west and 6.86 km long from north to south. Zhuangxing is located in the gugangshen area and formed a land earlier.

The soil is mainly composed of green loess and sandy green loess with medium texture and slow nutrient release. Most of the plants are vegetated and the biological resources are abundant. There are six kinds of soil: Green loess, sandy green loess, shell sand bottom green loess, tidal ditch dry soil, Xiaogang tidal soil and green purple soil. Among them, green loess and sandy green loess are the most, accounting for 90.75% of the total cultivated land area of the town.

The total area of the township was 4401 hectares, and the land area was 3802.2 hectares, including 3133.6 hectares of cultivated land and 598.8 hectares of water. In 2003, the total area of Zhuangxing town remained unchanged, while the land area, water area and arable land area changed. The land area is 3859.6 hectares, 57.4 hectares more than 1992, of which the arable land area is 2483 hectares, 650.54 hectares less than 1992. The water area is 541.4 hectares, 57.4 hectares less than that in 1992.
Biological resources
As of 2003, there are more than 300 species of plants and more than 100 species of animals in zhuangheng. Among them, there are nearly 100 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines, such as honeysuckle, Ophiopogon japonicus, Houttuynia cordata, Saxifraga, purslane, Prunella vulgaris, etc.

Shanghai Fengxian Modern Agricultural Park, one of the first four municipal parks launched in Shanghai, moved into Zhuanghang in March 2012, with a core area of 20 square kilometers. Zhuang Xing is the land of fish and rice in the south of the Yangtze River, known as the granary in the west of Fengxian.
In 2003, the total income of rural economy in Zhuangxing town was 217 million yuan, including 118 million yuan from agriculture, 3.8 million yuan from forestry, 50.48 million yuan from animal husbandry and 44.7 million yuan from fishery (fresh water). The total output of autumn grain was 8413 tons, and that of summer grain was 641 tons.

Zhuangheng Industrial Park of Shanghai Comprehensive Industrial Development Zone was established in November 2001. It is a Municipal Development Zone with a planning area of 5 square kilometers. Located in the East, West and north of Zhuangxing Town, Zhuangxing Industrial Park is composed of the East and west of Zhuangxing European Industrial Park in Shanghai and the former Wuqiao Industrial Park.
