Lianhuatan Township, belonging to Guyuan County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Guyuan County. It is adjacent to Xiaochang town in the East, Chicheng County in the southeast, Chongli County in the south, Zhangbei County in the west, xixinying Township and xiaohezi Township in the north. In 1948, lianhuatan Township belonged to the third district of Baoyuan County; in 1984, it was changed from lianhuatan commune to lianhuatan township.
