Luyang town
Luyang Town, located in Lushan County, Sichuan Province, is the political, economic, cultural and business center of Lushan County. Luyang town governs five administrative villages of Dongfeng, Hongqi, Qianqian, Hongguang and Xijiang, and two neighborhood committees of Chengdong and Beijie, with a total population of 26246 (2017). Luyang town covers an area of 65.64 square kilometers.
Historical evolution
Lushan County governs the town and is the seat of the county government. Luyang township was established in 1953, the commune was established in 1958, and Luyang town was established in 1984.
