National unity Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Xinghe County, Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the middle of Xinghe County, bordering Nanhaoqian Town, Shangyi County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province in the East, Chengguan town in the south, Erdong town and huangmaoying Town, Chahar right-wing Front Banner in the West, and dakulian Township in the north, with an administrative area of 383 square kilometers.
In April 1953, Huangtu village was established; in May 1956, it was renamed National Unity township; in 1958, it was established national unity commune; in August 1984, it was changed into township. By the end of 2018, 33920 households had registered residence in the national unity township. As of June 2020, there are 22 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of national unity rural areas.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in national unity township was 3270 yuan. In 2018, there are 5 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters in national unity township.
History of construction
In April 1953, Huangtu village was established.
In May 1956, it was renamed National Unity township.
In 1958, the national unity commune was established.
In August 1984, the national unity commune was transformed into a township.
