The area of julihen town originally belonged to the front banner of Horqin Right Wing, julihen zaraganutuk.
In September 1958, julihen commune was established, belonging to Horqin Right Wing Front Banner.
In 1962, dabagou and Sili were drawn out.
In July 1980, it was transferred to Ulanhot city.
In March 1984, he moved to Lixiang.
