topographic features
The landform of the construction area of Keyihe forestry bureau is mainly formed in the late Mesozoic and early Tertiary. Before the end of Mesozoic era, the tectonic activity of Daxing'anling was uplifting. At the end of Mesozoic era and the early period of tertiary, the tectonic activity was relatively calm. The mountain of Daxing'anling suffered from denudation and planarization, which continued until the late period of tertiary. During the Quaternary period, the Great Xing'an Mountains were uplifted in a large area and the crust rose slowly. Since the Quaternary, due to the complex changes of climatic conditions, the top of the low mountains and hills became smooth under the combined action of the inner and outer crust, forming a wide valley plain. The geomorphic units can be divided into mountain, hill, valley and plain.
Mountain, mountain belongs to tectonic landform. Most of the rolling mountains are round, and the mountains are scattered and discontinuous. At its highest peak, NOMIN mountain is 1218 meters above sea level, and at its lowest point is the estuary of Keyi River, 539 meters above sea level. The construction area of the bureau is high in the north and low in the south, high in the West and low in the East. The south slope of the mountain is gentle and the north slope is steep. The average slope is about 15 degrees, the terrain is not undulating, and the relative elevation difference of mountainous area is 100-400 meters.
According to the measurement of forest survey and Planning Institute of Daxinganling Forest Management Bureau in Inner Mongolia, there are 572 peaks above 800 meters in the construction area of the Bureau, including 31 famous and named peaks and 541 unnamed peaks.
In the construction area of the Bureau, the hills are eroded and leveled. There is no obvious ridge, and the back of the hills is gentle. Most of them are gentle, roughly equal height hills or full hills.
Valley plain refers to the flat valley formed by the impact of large and small rivers in the construction area. It includes flat land, depression and floodplain of river valley. The prominent features of Valley landform are wide and flat valley, narrow and small channel, and complex micro terrain change.
hydrology
The construction area of the bureau is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, with large topographic relief and strong water erosion. The river network is the most developed, and a large number of mountain springs and streams are distributed. During this period, the river runoff is abundant. In the construction area, the trees are luxuriant, the vegetation is good, the soil erosion is slight, the sediment content of the river is very small, and the water quality is good, so it is suitable for development and utilization.
Groundwater resources are also very rich, which are characterized by shallow burial, easy well completion, good water quality and great significance of water supply.
