Daming town, subordinate to Diaobingshan City, Tieling City, Liaoning Province, is located in the north of Diaobingshan City, adjacent to Tieling, Changtu, Faku and Kaiyuan, with an administrative area of 58.88 square kilometers.
In 1962, Daming town was built from Baijiagou, belonging to Faku County. By the end of 2018, the population of Daming town registered residence was 26609. As of June 2020, Daming town has jurisdiction over two communities, nine administrative villages and one village level unit.
In 2011, the total revenue of Daming town was 50 million yuan, an increase of 82.2% over the previous year. The general budget revenue was 40 million yuan, an increase of 102.7% over the previous year. History of construction
In 1962, Daming town was built from Baijiagou, belonging to Faku County.
In 1970, it was assigned from Faku County to Tiefa Mining Bureau.
In 1982, it was designated as Tiefa City from Tiefa Mining Bureau.
On February 20, 2002, Tiefa City was renamed Diaobingshan city.
