Xinhui town belongs to Aohan banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. Xinhui town is located in the southwest of Aohan banner, adjacent to niugutu Township, Fengshou Township, beizifu Township and Jinchanggouliang Township in the East, sijiazi town in the south, Jianping County and sidaowanzi town in Liaoning Province in the west, Saliba Township and manihan Township in the north. The people's government is located in the north section of Xinxing street. The administrative area of Xinhui town is 858.35 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, Xinhui town had a registered residence population of 113611.

In 1969, Xinhui town and Xinhui commune merged into Xinhui commune. In 1979, Xinhui town was rebuilt from Xinhui commune. In August 2001, Xinhui commune was incorporated into Xinhui town. In January 2006, gaojiawopu Township and Xindi Township were merged into Xinhui town. In October 2019, Xinhui town governs 15 communities and 26 administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 80 industrial enterprises in Xinhui Town, including 10 industrial enterprises above Designated Size and 176 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Xinhui town is located in the hilly area of the transition from nuruhu mountain area to Horqin sandy land. It is a shallow hilly area. It is distributed on both sides of the upper mengke river. Xinhui Town River belongs to the Xiliao River system. The main river is mengke River, which originates from laimaogou mountain in fengshengdian village. Beizhalanyingzi River, a tributary of mengke River, has a total length of 25 kilometers, a drainage area of 125 square kilometers and an annual runoff of 54.4 million cubic meters.
