Shangguanyintang Township, belonging to Pingshan County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Pingshan County, adjacent to mengjiazhuang town in the East, xiahuai town in the south, jiaotanzhuang town in the West and Lingshou County in the north, with an administrative area of 110.22 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 5217 people registered residence in Guanyin hall.
In 1949, shangguanyintang Township belonged to jiaotanzhuang District of Jianping County; in 1983, it was merged with qiubodong commune to establish shangguanyintang township. As of June 2020, shangguanyintang township has jurisdiction over 21 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Guanyintang village.

History of construction
In 1949, shangguanyintang Township belonged to jiaotanzhuang District of Jianping County.
In 1953, Guanyintang township was established.
In September 1958, it belonged to Guangyu commune of Pingshan County.
In 1961, it was changed into shangguanyintang commune.
In 1983, it merged with qiubodong commune and established shangguanyintang township.
