Yangxie town belongs to Shangzhou District, Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the southwest of Shangzhou District, adjacent to machihe town in the East, Yanchihe town in the south, hongyansi town in Zuoshui County in the west, Gepai town in Lantian County in Xi'an City, and Jinlingsi town in the north. The total area is 421.3 square kilometers.

As of June 2020, Yangxie town has one community and 17 administrative villages. By the end of 2018, Yang's registered residence was 37870.
