Wujiazi town

Fifty Jiazi Town, belonging to Linxi County, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the north of Linxi County. It is adjacent to Balinyouqi in the southeast, Guandi town in the southwest, Xinlin town in the West and xiwuzhumuqin banner in the north. The area is 662 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 30445 people registered residence.

In December 1956, fifty villages were built. In March 1958, fifty sub communes were established. In February 1984, it was changed into Wujiazi town. As of June 2020, the town has 16 administrative villages.

By the end of 2018, there was one industrial enterprise in 50 towns and 48 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

At the beginning of liberation, it belonged to the Sixth District of Linxi County.

In December 1956, it was divided into four townships: fifty families, dongbianqiang, damajin and laofangshen.

In March 1958, it was merged into two townships of 50 families and Lao Fang Shen.

In March 1958, the two townships merged to form 50 sub communes.

In February 1984, it was changed into 50jiazi Town, and laofangshen Township and Xinglongzhuang Township were designated from the original 50 communes.

In December 2005, Xinglongzhuang and laofangshen were merged.
