Xindun town

Xindun Town, subordinate to Ganzhou District, Zhangye City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest suburb of Ganzhou district and in Binhe New District of Zhangye City. It is adjacent to the Northeast suburb industrial park of Zhangye City in the East, Chang'an Township in the south, ganjun town in the West and sanzha town in the North. It covers an area of 43.79 square kilometers. In 2018, the population of registered residence in new town was 28486.

In 1956, Xindun township was established. In 1961, Xindun commune was established. In 1983, it was changed into Xindun township. In 1999, the township was removed and the town was built. As of June 2020, Xindun town has jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Xindun town is located in group 1, nanzha village.

In 2018, Xindun town had 18 industrial enterprises and 111 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In 1956, Xindun township was established.
