Jiangjunyao town
Jiangjunyao Town, belonging to tumed Right Banner of Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of tumed Right Banner and the hinterland of Yellow River irrigation area. It is adjacent to Tuoketuo County in the East, Zhungeer banner of Ordos City across the river in the south, Haizi Township in the west, meidaizhao town and Shuanglong town in the north. The area is 399 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 57810 people registered residence.
In January 1969, tumed banner was divided into left and right banners, belonging to tumed Right Banner. In 1981, sijiayao commune moved to xiaozhaozi village and changed its name to xiaozhaozi commune. In September 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. In April 2001, chengkuihai township was merged into xiaozhaozi township. In February 2006, jiangjunyao, dangsanyao and Xiaozhao were merged into jiangjunyao town. In June 2020, jiangjunyao town governs 47 administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 9 industrial enterprises in jiangjunyao Town, including 1 industrial enterprise above Designated Size and 81 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, it was called the northern part of Ordos Left Wing Front Banner.
Qing Xuantong three years (1911) ~ 1954, Zhungeer banner, known as Zhungeer.
From 1928 to 1949, some villages belonged to Tuoketuo county.
From 1939 to 1945, it belonged to the puppet West Government of Zhungeer banner.
In October 1949, it belonged to Zhungeer banner.
In 1955, it was transferred to Salaqi county.
In 1956, the township was withdrawn to jiangjunyao Township, belonging to erwangyaoda township.
In October 1958, general Yao, Si Jia Yao, Dang San Yao, Cheng kuihai and other townships formed the United commune.
In 1959, it was renamed jiangjunyao commune.
In September 1961, jiangjunyao commune was divided into four communes: dangsanyao Township, sijiayao commune, Cheng kuihai commune and jiangjunyao commune.
In January 1969, tumed banner was divided into left and right banners, belonging to tumed Right Banner.
In 1981, sijiayao commune moved to xiaozhaozi village and changed its name to xiaozhaozi commune.
In September 1984, the commune was transformed into a township.
In April 2001, chengkuihai township was merged into xiaozhaozi township.
In February 2006, jiangjunyao, dangsanyao and Xiaozhao were merged into jiangjunyao town.
