Xiangyang Community is located in the old city of Meilu, Wuchuan City. It was founded in 1964, covering an area of 1.3 square kilometers, with a total population of 7851, 9 resident groups and 24 party members.

Xiangyang Community is the most prosperous business center in the early days of Meizhou. Up to now, it still retains fantang lane, wogai lane, Zhuzi lane, Shigou lane, grocery store, chicken shop, rice shop, Guanyin street, Dajie street, tofu street, xijiekou and other characteristic streets and lanes as well as the "Zhongshan Memorial Hall" of the former site of the party headquarters of Wuchuan City of the Kuomintang.
