Sijiqing town
Sijiqing Town, which belongs to Lindian County, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southeast of Lindian county. It borders on the Ming River County in Suihua and the adjacent city of Anda City in Suihua. It is adjacent to Lindian town and Huayuan Town, and north is linked to Dongxing township. In 2018, the area was 602.4 square kilometers and the registered residence population was 28330.
In the first year of the Republic of China (after 1912), it belongs to the third district of Lindian county. In the 36th year of the Republic of China (June 1947), it belonged to the third district. In 1974, the Taiyangsheng commune was set up by three groups: Dongfanghong, Xiangyanghong and Taiyangsheng. In 1984, liming commune was transformed into a township. In 2001, Longshan township was incorporated into the city. In January 2011, it was changed to Sijiqing town. As of October 2019, Sijiqing town has 13 administrative villages.
In 2018, Sijiqing town had 8 industrial enterprises and 68 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In 1912, it was the third district of Lindian county.
In the 20th year of the Republic of China (1931), it belonged to Shuangchengbao and later to bijiawei.
In the 28th year of the Republic of China (January 1939), Shuangcheng village was established.
In the 35th year of the Republic of China (March 1946), it belonged to Shuangcheng district.
In the 36th year of the Republic of China (June 1947), it belonged to the third district.
In March 1956, Shuangcheng township was established.
In 1958, it merged with four townships of liming, Xinfa, Xinglong and Longshan to form Dongfanghong commune.
In February 1959, it was renamed Liming commune.
In 1974, the Taiyangsheng commune was set up by three groups: Dongfanghong, Xiangyanghong and Taiyangsheng.
In 1984, liming commune was transformed into a township.
In 2001, Longshan township was incorporated into the city.
In January 2011, it was changed to Sijiqing town.
