Sanjiao Town
Sanjiao Town, subordinate to Yongchuan District of Chongqing, is located in the north of Yongchuan District. It is connected with Banqiao Town and Chashan Zhuhai Street in the East, Shengli road street and Shuangshi town in the south, Dazu District in the West and northwest, and Tongliang District in the north. It is 19.5km away from the residence of Yongchuan District People's government, with a total area of 107.79km2.
In the early Ming Dynasty, Sanjiao Town belonged to yangyanli, Tongliang County; in October 1985, it was changed from Sanjiao township to Sanjiao Town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of San Jiao Town was 63073. As of June 2020, Sanjiao Town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 13 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in sanjiaochang.
In 2018, there were 320 industrial enterprises in Sanjiao Town, of which 24 were large-scale and 36 were comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the early Ming Dynasty, Sanjiao Town was located in yangyanli, Tongliang County.
In the 60th year of Kangxi (1721) of the Qing Dynasty, sanjiaochang was built; in the 7th year of Jiaqing (1802), it belonged to the top ten of yangyanlichu in Shangxiang, Tongliang County, Chongqing Prefecture, Sichuan Province.
In 1919, Sanjiao township was established, belonging to the Second District of Tongliang County. On January 1, 1950, it belonged to the Sixth District of Tongliang County (Banqiao).
In the spring of 1953, Sanjiao township was established as Yufeng township.
In 1958, Sanjiao township was established as Sanjiao commune.
In October 1961, Sanjiao commune was divided into Sanjiao commune and Yufeng commune.
In 1983, it was changed from Sanjiao commune to Sanjiao township.
In October 1985, it was changed from Sanjiao township to Sanjiao Town.
In September 1992, Sanjiao district and Yufeng Township were merged into Sanjiao Town.

In November 2003, Shuanghekou community in Huaqiao Town, Jiantan, Zhangjiawan, yejiagou, Siya, Yangliu and Yongbo villages, Xinxing, Paifang, Qizi and mengjiadian villages in Shouyong Town, and Dali, Yong'an, Xianhua, YANWO and Liping villages in Wanshou town were merged into Sanjiao Town.
By the end of 2011, Sanjiao Town had jurisdiction over two communities, namely chuanzhumiao and Shuanghekou, 13 administrative villages, including Santai, dougouhe, xinguanyin, haojiaba, Limin, Shuangping, Yongbo, Yunlong, Shiling, Yufeng, Shilong, Paifang and Yong'an, and 12 resident groups and 94 villager groups.
