Liufu town
Liufu Town, formerly known as Longhu Town, is located in the southernmost part of Shenqiu County, adjacent to liuzhuangdian town in the west, old towns in the north, Linquan County in Anhui Province in the south, and Daxingzhuang Township across the river in the East. It is 10 kilometers long from east to west and 4.9 kilometers wide from north to south, covering an area of 49 square kilometers. The town has jurisdiction over 22 administrative villages, 72 natural villages, 159 villager groups, 54600 people and 9661 mu of cultivated land.
Historical evolution
In history, it was one of Shenqiu's "eight collections". After liberation, it belonged to the people's commune of old towns. Liufuji commune was established in 1975, the township was changed in 1983, and the township was withdrawn to build a town in 1987.

The company has a total assets of 160 million yuan and 2151 employees. Its main products are steel heating radiator, 4-6-inch steel pipe, special-shaped pipe and high-energy loss saving transformer. In 1995, it was rated by the Ministry of agriculture and the State Administration of township enterprises as the top 1000 profit and tax enterprises in China. In 1996, it was rated by the China Association of private enterprises as one of the top 100 private enterprises in China. By the end of 2001, there were 640 enterprises in the town, including 8 town run enterprises and 36 village run collective enterprises, involving 14 categories and more than 120 varieties of building materials, steel pipes, insurance equipment, vegetable dehydration, plastic recycling, electronic and electrical appliances, paper making, printing, flour processing, shoe-making, etc. Among them, dehydrated vegetables and other products are exported to Japan, South Korea, Singapore and other countries. Hanmiao natural village is located in the northwest corner of Liufu Town, 3km away. The village is famous for producing handmade sweet potato vermicelli. The vermicelli processed by the village sell well in Shanxi, Hubei, Shanghai and other large and medium-sized cities every year.
