Yilan town
Yilan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Yanji City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, is located in the north of Yanji City, bordering Chang'an town of Tumen City in the East, Yanji City in the south, Chaoyangchuan town in the West and baicaogou town of Wangqing County in the north, with an administrative area of 615 square kilometers.
In the Liao and Jin Dynasties, it was the residence of Nuzhen; in April 1988, it belonged to Yanji City; in 1992, Yilan township was changed into a town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Yilan town was 23476. As of June 2020, Yilan town has 12 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Yilan town was 58 million yuan, an increase of 10% over the previous year. Among them, the local fiscal revenue is 26 million yuan. In 2018, there were 16 industrial enterprises in Yilan Town, including 5 above scale and 10 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In Liao and Jin Dynasties, it was the residence of Nuzhen.
During the reign of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Zhiren society of Nangang Reclamation Bureau.
In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), it belonged to yilangou village, Zhiren community, Yanji county.
In 1931, it belonged to yilangou City, a district of Yanji city.
In 1936, Weilan village was established.
In 1943, it was renamed Chunxing village.
In 1945, gaichunxing district (16 districts) was established.
In 1956, it was divided into Chunxing and Yilan townships.
It was merged into Yilan commune in February, 1958 and changed into Yilan commune in October, 1958.
In 1964, it was transferred to Yanji county.
In July 1983, it was changed to Yilan township.
In April 1988, it was transferred to Yanji city.
In 1992, Yilan township was transformed into a town.

As of June 2020, Yilan town has 12 administrative villages: Jiulong village, Chunxing village, Gucheng village, Beida village, Xing'an village, Dongxing village, Dacheng village, Ping'an Village, xingruan village, Longyuan village, Limin Village and Taiyan village. The town people's government is stationed in xingruan.
