Shuixi town
Shuiqian town was founded in 1958 and changed to a township in 1984. In 1997, it had jurisdiction over 15 village committees and Shuiqian neighborhood committees, including Shuiqian, Zhangfang, Tangdi, Xiayang, Xiafu, Shangxie, anzhai, Jiaokeng, Rudi, Yanxi, Yankou, miaojian, Yangcheng, Qiushan and Shiliao. On July 27, 2015, Shuiqian township was set up as a town, named Shuiqian town. Shuiqian town is the first town in the mainstream of Minjiang River.
In 2017, Shuiqian town governs 1 neighborhood committee, 15 villages and 226 villager groups, with a total of 6873 households and 30050 people.
General situation
Shuiqian town is located 33 kilometers to the north of Ninghua County, bordering Fengxi township of Mingxi County and Quanshang town of this county in the East, Hucun town of this county in the south, Zhongsha Township and Helong township of this county in the west, Anyuan town of this county and Junkou town of Jianning County in the North. It is 19 kilometers wide from east to west and 20 kilometers long from north to south, ranking second in the county. It has jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages (including she village in front of the temple), 1 neighborhood committee and 226 villager groups. The annual planting area of flue-cured tobacco is more than 12000 mu, which is one of the big towns of flue-cured tobacco planting.
natural condition
1. Shuiqian belongs to the mid subtropical monsoon climate zone, with annual average temperature of 17.5 ℃, extreme high temperature of 38.5 ℃, the lowest temperature of - 9.6 ℃, frost free period of 255 days or so, and annual average rainfall of 1808mm or so. 2. There are undulating mountains in the territory. The whole terrain is crisscross with low mountains, hills, river valleys and basins. The average altitude is 445 meters. From Taofeng mountain in the North (1054 meters above sea level) to fukienzhang in the West (1020 meters above sea level), the northwest barrier is formed. The northwest is high and the middle is low. The mountains are surrounded by Shuiqian basin (370 meters above sea level). 3. The main rivers are Zhangfang River, Shangxie River and Rudi River, with mountain streams and small rivers winding through the whole territory and abundant water resources. It is one of the cradles of Minjiang River. 4. It is rich in forest resources, with a forest coverage rate of 75.5%, and a total mountain area of 268000 mu (including 196000 mu of ecological public welfare forest and 10000 mu of bamboo forest). 1. Shuiqian is a big agricultural town, mainly producing grain and flue-cured tobacco, with an annual output of 22000 tons of grain, more than 20000 tons of tobacco leaves and 200000 moso bamboo. 2. The town is rich in local products such as red mushroom, pear mushroom, Lentinus edodes, bean curd skin, Ginkgo biloba, dried bamboo shoots and wild kiwi fruit. (3) Ginkgo biloba (for both food and medicine) has begun to take shape. There are 37 Ancient Ginkgo biloba plants now. In recent years, more than 1000 mu of Ginkgo biloba has been planted, accounting for 120000 plants. In Rudi village, there is an annual output of nearly 30000 ginkgo seedlings breeding base. 4. There are 1 junior middle school, 7 primary schools (1 Shuiqian Central Primary School, 1 completed primary school, 2 village primary schools and 3 teaching points), 15 kindergartens, 1 Township Cultural Center, 1 central health center, 1 health branch and 14 village health centers in the town. The culture, education and health undertakings are developing continuously. 5. All villages have completed the transformation of rural power grid, the village roads have been hardened 100%, the program-controlled telephone and mobile phone signals have achieved 100% coverage of administrative villages, and all administrative villages have realized the interconnection with county cable TV. 6. It has 1 small (1) reservoir and 6 small (2) reservoirs. 7. There are two fairs, Shuiqian (lunar calendar every 1,6) and miaojian (lunar calendar every 3,8), which are the agricultural products trade center of the junction of the three counties and eight townships. 8. The industrial scale is small, mainly processing grain, bamboo and wood. In 2008, the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery was 153.64 million yuan, the local general budget revenue was 3.3839 million yuan, and the per capita net income was 3859 yuan, maintaining a good momentum of economic and social development.
Historical and cultural landscape
1. Zheng Wenbao, a historian and Minister of the Ministry of war in the Song Dynasty, was born in zhengjiafang, a she village in front of the temple. 2. Shuixifanwei bridge, which was built in Ming Dynasty and is known as "Northern Fujian corridor", has a history of more than 500 years. 3. During the second agrarian revolution, Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Peng Dehuai, Teng Daiyuan and other revolutionary ancestors led the Red Army to move to the territory. There was a Soviet government in hankeng Temple of Yanxi village, a red army hospital in Qiushan village, and a Red Army Arsenal and logistics left behind office in Shiliao village. 4. Traditional puppet show, dragon dance and other folk arts are well-known. There are 11 puppet troupes in Yankou village alone. Shuiqian's dragon dance includes straw dragon, cloth dragon, drum lantern, dance ghost and other performances. Dance ghost has won a prize in the County folk art performance. Yankou village traditional casting (casting plough bucket, temple bell) handicraft passed down from generation to generation, casting temple bell sold to the whole northwest Fujian. 5. The scenery of rock village in anzhai village formed by karst landform and the Chinese fir King Group in Shiliao Village (with the largest volume of 101.85 cubic meters per mu in the world) are two beautiful landscapes.
