Qianjin Township
Qianjin Township, belonging to Jiaohe City, Jilin Province, is located in the northeast of Jiaohe City, bordering Huangnihe Town, Dunhua City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture in the East, huangsongdian town in the south, Xinzhan town in the west, Xin'an Township, Shulan city in the north, Shanhe Town, Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province in the northeast, 40 km away from Jiaohe City in the southwest, covering an area of 596.81 square kilometers.
In 1408, Tutun Hewei was set up in Qianjin township; in December 1983, it was changed from Qianjin commune to Qianjin township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the township was 17116. As of June 2020, Qianjin village has 17 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is stationed in Qianjin village.
In Qianjin Township, corn is the main food crop, and pig and cattle are the main animal husbandry. In 2018, Qianjin township has 2 industrial enterprises and 26 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
Ming Yongle six years (1408), set up tuitun River Wei.
In the Qing Dynasty, tuitun station was set up. In 1909, the first year of Xuantong in Qing Dynasty, Jiaohe was assigned to the second police district.
In June 1933, it was assigned to the third district of the six police districts of the county. In February 1946, tuitun district was set up and Qianjin village governed 11 villages. In August 1949, it was changed to Tuen 16 district.
In 1954, it was divided into two villages, tuitun and Qianjin.
In January 1956, tuitun and Qianjin villages were changed into tuitun and Qianjin villages.
In September 1958, tuitun and Qianjin townships were merged into Qianjin commune; in October of the same year, Qianjin administrative area was changed.
In April 1959, Qianjin management area was changed into Qianjin commune.
In December 1983, Qianjin commune was changed into Qianjin township.
