Tangjiawan town
Tangjiawan town belongs to Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province. It is located in the north of Xiangzhou District of Zhuhai City and the West Bank of the Pearl River Estuary. It faces NANPENG and Sanxiang towns of Zhongshan City in the north and West. It borders Jieyong community, Dongkeng community and Shenqian village of Cuixiang Street office in the South and southwest. It faces the Pearl River Estuary in the East and faces Lantau Island in Hong Kong across the sea.
Tangjiawan town has Tang Shaoyi's former residence, Su Zhaozheng's former residence, Tang three Temple Anti Japanese Monument and other cultural relics. Tang Chi, Tang Buchan, Yu Ji and other cultural artists have appeared in Tangjiawan town. Under the jurisdiction of Tangjia, tangle, Jishan, houhuan, Yinxing, nazhou, Yongfeng, Qi'ao, Beisha, Huitong, ningtang, Guantang, xiazha, shangzha, Dongan, Jinfeng and other 16 communities. The total population was 127543 (2017). In 2015, the industrial output value was 18.91 billion yuan and the added value was 4.1 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 45.5% and 25.2% respectively, ranking the first in Zhuhai.
In July 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association confirmed Tangjiawan town as a national health Township in 2019.
Historical evolution
As early as the Tang Dynasty, some primitive villages appeared in Tangjiawan, which is the earliest natural village in Tangjiawan area. In the northern and Southern Song Dynasty, a large number of people from the Central Plains moved in and built their own villages.
In the second year of Tang Zhide (757), Tangjiawan area was under the jurisdiction of wenshun Township, Dongguan county (the township government is now Shanchang village, Xiangzhou District).
Xiangshan County was established in the 22nd year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1152).
In 1381, Xiangshan County was changed into Fangdu.
In 1645, Xiangshan County divided gongchangdu into shanggongchangdu town and xiagongchangdu town. In 1910, Xiangshan County was changed into a Town Committee and nine districts were set up. Shanggong Changdu town was changed into six districts, and Tangjiawan district was under the jurisdiction of six districts.
On April 15, 1925, Xiangshan County was changed into Zhongshan County. In May 1930, the county government moved from Shiqi in the first district to Tangjia in the Sixth District. In July of the same year, the Sixth District was changed to Zhongshan port area, and Tangjiawan area was under the jurisdiction of Zhongshan port area. In 1931, Zhongshan port area was changed to the Sixth District (xiazha market).
On May 1, 1953, it was officially established in the Tang family.
In July 1955, the first district was renamed Tangjia district.
In September 1958, the town and township of Zhuhai county was abolished.
On March 22, 1959, Zhuhai county and Zhongshan County were merged, and the original administrative region was assigned to Zhongshan County.
On April 17, 1961, the organizational system of Zhuhai county was restored. In October of the same year, xiazha district (later changed to Tangjia District) was established.
On February 10, 1963, Tangjia district was abolished.
On March 28, 2002, Tangjia town and Jinding town merged into Tangjiawan town.
In July 2006, the jurisdiction of Tangjiawan town was changed from Xiangzhou District to "high tech Zone and Tangjiawan town are integrated and directly managed by Zhuhai City".

Geology and geomorphology
The terrain of Tangjiawan town is higher in the West and southwest, lower in the East and northeast and Southeast, and inclined from southwest to northeast. There are hills, terraces, alluvial plains, beaches, beaches. The high hills are Fenghuangshan mountain system, with the highest peak at 437 meters above sea level. The others are low hilly platforms, accounting for 53.9% of the land area. They are mainly composed of Yanshanian granite.
The surface layer of granite in hills and platforms is mainly sandy gravelly clay, mainly distributed in Yongfeng, nazhou, Huitong, Guantang, ningtang, etc.
The soil quality of alluvial plain (including valley plain and valley plain) is mainly distributed in Guantang, east bank, shangzha, nazhou, Tangjia, Jishan and other areas near the river.
The soil quality of marine plain (flat land composed of river alluvial and marine materials) is mainly muddy sand and silty silt, which is distributed in Waisha, liuzu, Tangjia, Jishan, east bank, Qi'ao, etc.
Sandy beach is composed of coarse sand and fine sand, mainly distributed in Waisha, shangzha, Guantang, Qianhuan, houhuan, Qiao houshawan, powan and other places.
The soil of the beach is granite, distributed in the coastal area of Jishan; coarse sand and gravel, mainly distributed in shangzha and qiaojiazhou; fine silt and clay, mainly distributed in Waisha, shangzha, east bank, Qianhuan, houhuan and Qiaodao north.

There is no severe cold in winter and no severe heat in summer. The annual average temperature is about 22.5 ° C. Tangjiawan Town, located in the north of Zhuhai City, is located in low latitude, with abundant sunlight and long sunshine time.
From July to September every year is a relatively hot period, in which the monthly average temperature in July is higher, reaching 28.6 ° C. There are two records of the highest temperature of 38.5 ° C on July 10, 1980 and late July 2005. December to February is a relatively cold month. The monthly average temperature used to be only 14.5 ° C. on December 29, 1976, the temperature was recorded as low as 2.5 ° C. In spring, the weather of "late spring cold" with daily average temperature less than 12 ° C often occurs. In autumn, especially after October every year, the rainy season ends, the cold air begins to increase, and the dry season begins.
According to the meteorological statistics from 1962 to 1990, the annual rainfall in Tangjiawan area is 2000-2200mm, mostly from May to October. The month with the most rainfall over the years is June (with an average of 19.4 days), which is 17% of the annual rainfall. The month with the least rainfall is December (with an average of 3.9 days), which only accounts for 1.3% of the annual rainfall. There are many heavy rain, rainstorm and torrential rain in May and June every year.

Most of the mountain forest area in Tangjiawan town is for economic forest. There are more than 100 species of linderaceae trees in hilly area. Mangrove communities are composed of dozens of plants, such as pine, banyan, Melia azedarach, Kandelia, hornberry, Bruguiera, Aegiceras and Phragmites australis, which are mainly distributed in the north and south of shangzha Yongkou, Jishan Yongkou and Qi'ao Island. In plain area, there are dozens of species, such as camphor, masson pine, Eucalyptus grandis, kapok, etc. From the grass mainly has five section empty, wild ancient grass, wild citronella, Miscanthus and so on.
Qi'ao mangrove is located in Dawei Bay, northwest of Qi'ao Island. In the 1960s, the mangrove area was only more than 1000 mu. From 1990 to 2004, it expanded to 2560 mu, which is the largest mangrove in the Pearl River Delta. Forest beach belongs to coastal saline swamp soil, known as "marine forest".

There are all kinds of snakes in the islands (mainly Qi'ao Island) and mountains of the town: boa constrictor, cobra (commonly known as black meat), Changbiao, Golden Snake, Bungarus multicinctus, grass snake, etc. Turtle: pangolin, turtle, grass turtle, water fish, etc. There are more than 120 species of birds on the mountain: pigeon, partridge, owl, cuckoo, magpie, thrush, myna, turtledove, kingfisher, swiftlet, sparrow, yellow breasted bunting (grass Sparrow), pheasant, etc.; on the beach: seagull, wild duck, water chicken, egret, heron, green heron, pond heron, grey crane, spotted pelican, white bone top, white breasted bitterbird, snipe, kite, osprey, etc. Four limb reptiles: civet, leopard civet, yellow catfish, otter, etc.
Tangjiawan sea area is located at the intersection of salty water and fresh water. It has a long coastline and vast tidal flats. Oysters and white clams are the best food for crabs. In addition, the industrial pollution along the coast is less, and the growing Crabs do not have the smell of mud grass produced by inland river and freshwater river crabs. So it's very delicious. Its crab meat is thick and creamy.
Mineral resources
Mainly sand and stone. The sand is sea sand. The sand layer for construction is mainly distributed in the modern Bay, ancient Bay and both sides of the river. It is distributed in the east bank, Waisha, shangzha, Tangjia, Jishan, Yinkeng and Qi'ao coastal areas. The content of each ore spot ranges from 315000 to 656300 tons. Quartz sand (also known as glass sand) is distributed in Tangjiawan modern Bay. Xiazha large ore deposit is located 4 km northwest of Tangjia, with original reserves of 27.6881 million tons and high concentrate grade. It is a good raw material for producing special glass and flat glass. The stone is in the hills of the town. In addition, there are low content tungsten deposits in Qi'ao, rare earth deposits in xiazha and small tin deposits in Yongfeng Jinniushan. In Song Dynasty, Yinkeng once developed silver deposit in aoling, Fengmen (the site is still in existence), and there is magnetite deposit with low grade in Nanshan, east bank.

There were 4538 households and 20248 people in Jinding Town, including 9812 males and 10436 females. In 2002, the total population of Tangjia Bay area was 89762, of which 26809 were registered residence. In 2004, the total population of Tangjia Bay was 96061, registered residence.
