Jiangtang Township
Jiangtang township is a township under the jurisdiction of Taihu County, Anqing City, Anhui Province. Located in the southwest of Taihu County, the township covers a total area of 101 square kilometers, with 3000 hectares of cultivated land and 3200 hectares of woodland. It is the back garden and agricultural and sideline products supply base of the county. The total population of the township is 36694 (2017), which governs 11 administrative villages, 315 villager groups, and 57 cadres of the village two committees.
Jiangtang township is located in the south of Dabie Mountains, which is a hilly area. Jiangtang township has beautiful mountains and rivers, abundant mountains and abundant forests. The main crops are rice and cotton, rich in wheat, potato, rape, peanuts, beans, tea, sericulture, etc.; the breeding industry is mainly pig, cattle, chicken, rich in duck, porpoise, etc.; the mountain farm is mainly pine, rich in fir, mulberry, fruit trees, etc.
Historical evolution
Jiangtang commune was established in 1961 and Jiangtang township was changed in 1984. In February 1992, Taiping and Jiangtang townships were merged into Jiangtang Township, covering an area of 99.54 square kilometers and with a population of 32480. It governs 22 administrative villages, including Yanhe, Baiyun, Qiaotou, Hedun, Chengmiao, Datang, Shenling, Anshan, Longshan, Jiangtang, Jinwan, biling, Guanqiao, Gaoling, Baxian, Wuxing, Wuyi, Jinxing, Qunfeng, Xiaogong, LvDa and longzhai. Township government in the original site of Jiangtang township (Jiangtang Village). In 1997, with an area of 99.5 square kilometers and a population of 35000, it has jurisdiction over 22 administrative villages, including longzhai, Gaoling, LvDa, Qunfeng, Jinxing, Wuyi, Xiaogong, Wuxing, Baxian, Longshan, Jinwan, Jiangtang, Chengmiao, Hedun, Qiaotou, Yanhe, Baiyun, Datang, Dongsheng, Shenling, biling and Anshan. In 2004, it has jurisdiction over 23 administrative villages and 310 villager groups.

Jiangtang village was formed in March 2005 by the merger of the former Jiangtang village and Chengmiao village. It is located in the seat of Jiangtang township government. It is the political, economic and cultural center of Jiangtang. It is also one of the important market towns of Taihua line. It is a place for ancient and modern businesses to compete for. It has elegant cultural style, beautiful landscape, pleasant scenery and convenient transportation. With a total area of 9.98 square kilometers, the village has 29 villager groups, 779 households and 3080 people. There are 134 party members and 53 villagers' representatives.
Longshan Village, located in the west of Jiangtang Township, has 30 villager groups with a total population of 3100 and 826 households, including 23 households with five guarantees. There are more than 6000 mu of mountain farms and 2800 mu of cultivated land in the village. There is a single small reservoir and two small (two) reservoirs. The village access project has been completed. Except for Luwa formation, other groups have been connected with gravel roads. The economic income is mainly migrant workers, whose income accounts for 80% of the family's economic income. Now, Li Jinjian and Jin songyong, young entrepreneurs returning to their hometown, set up Sanxin fire machine factory and clothing processing factory respectively, which can solve more than 200 people's labor force nearby every year. The annual per capita income of Longshan Village is 3600 yuan.
Dongsheng Village is located in the eastern edge of Jiangtang Township, bordering on Xuqiao and Xincang towns. The total area of the village is about 4 square kilometers, with 8 villager groups and 1500 people. At present, there are 37 party members, 36 villagers' representatives and 3 members of the two village committees. The supervision committee is composed of 3 members, with a total of 15 cadres. The village has a cultivated area of 2000 mu, mainly producing cotton and rice.
Baiyun Village, with 3560 people and 18 villager groups, covers an area of 5,5 square kilometers, is located in the south central part of Taihu County, northeast of Jiangtang Township and adjacent to Xincang town. There are dozens of large and small enterprises in the village, including Baiyun kiln factory, waterworks, Baiyun gas station, Chuangxing boiler factory, garment processing factory, milled rice processing factory, Baitou pig farm, Lainiu breeding base and three farmers' cooperatives, namely, Maotang farmers' professional ecological cooperative, lobster paddy field breeding cooperative, Xingxin sericulture farmers' professional cooperative, 300 mu Lanmei planting base and Baiyun Village Farm 1564 mu; the main production line is medicinal materials, crops, flowers and bonsai.
Datang Village is located in the east of Jiangtang Township, at the junction of Xincang, Xuqiao and Jiangtang towns. It borders Mingbei village of Xincang town in the East, Dongsheng and biling villages in the south, Baiyun and Hedun villages in the north, and is about 15 kilometers away from Taihu County. The village has 24 villager groups, 13 natural villages, 650 villagers and a total population of 2548. The total land area of the village is 7.6 square kilometers, including 4500 mu of cultivated land, 3900 mu of forest land and 1000 mu of water area.
Biling village was formed in May 2005 by merging the former biling village and Shenling village. The village has 35 villager groups, 815 households and a total population of 3540, including 92 party members, covering a total area of 9.52 square kilometers. The cultivated land area is 4101 mu, and the mountain area is more than 7000 mu. Biling village is the South Gate of Jiangtang Township, bordering Xuqiao town in the south, Dongsheng and Datang villages in the East, longzhai village in the West and Jiangtang village in the north. It has a superior geographical location and convenient transportation. S211 county road runs through our village for 4 kilometers. There are abundant water sources. Taiwang and Taisu channels run through the whole village, and there are more than 50 large-scale ponds. Drinking water projects for human and livestock have run through the main road. The natural environment of the whole village is beautiful and the trees are full of shade.
Hedun village is located in the north of Jiangtang township. It is formed by merging the three villages along he, Qiaotou and Hedun. Taihuai and Taihua highways pass through the village. The cement road around the village runs through the whole village with convenient transportation. The village has 35 villager groups, 950 households and 3700 people. The total area of the village is 13.4 square kilometers, including 8100 Mu mountain farm area, 2.18 mu per capita, more than 5000 mu arable land, 1.3 mu per capita. The main crops are grain, oil and cotton. The annual grain output is about 1800 tons. There are 150 mu of high-quality orchards and more than 200 mu of high-efficiency aquaculture farms. There are abundant resources of yellow sand, gravel and other building materials in the territory.
Wuyi village is located in the southwest border of Jiangtang Township, only one river away from Sili village of Hetao Township in Susong County and Liuxi village of Liangting Town, which is at the junction of two counties and three townships. There are 1.5km cement roads around the village and several 2km cement roads in the same group leading to Tiantou Dijiao. With a total area of 6.3 square kilometers, the village has 19 villager groups, 508 households and 2025 population. The territory has beautiful natural environment, beautiful scenery and simple folk customs. The land is fertile, with 3350 mu of arable land, 1500 mu of mountain farm and 300 mu of water area.
Located in the southwest of Taihu Lake, longzhai village is the South Gate of Jiangtang Township, which has a long history in Anhui Province. It is located in hilly areas, adjacent to Yangling village of Xuqiao town and biling village of Jiangtang Township in the East, Xiaogong village in the south, Wuxing village and Longshan Village in the west, and Jiangtang village in the north. There are Meijie highway and Meilai highway in the territory, which pass through the southeast of Shuncun. The administrative village area is 8.3 km, and the Dongtian cement road in the village is 0.8 km. It has been completed and put into use. Qianyuan road is under construction. The village has 2296 mu of arable land, 4488 mu of forest land and 1060 mu of water area. Tieshanzhai, longwangzhai, miaowaling, baxianshida mountain range are surrounded by the village from east to west, and the slingshot river flows from north to south. Beautiful natural scenery, picturesque four seasons, many outstanding cultural landscape. There are 30 villager groups in the village, with 779 households and a total population of 3028.
Located at the junction of Taihu County and Susong County, Wuxing village has 38 villager groups, 1067 households and 4100 population. The geographical form is hilly area. There are Jielong highway, two trunk lines of Dongwu highway, village to village oil road, engineering road, Taisu road and Wuyi Road. Wuxing village has convenient transportation and solid foundation for new rural economic construction. The area is 11.4 square kilometers, with 2880 mu of cultivated land, 8200 mu of forest land and 1170 mu of water area. The cultivated land is planted with a large amount of rice, a medium amount of rape and cotton, and a small amount of wheat, vegetables, fruits, etc.; the forest land is mainly planted with pine; the villagers raise pigs, chickens, ducks, cattle, etc., so the agricultural industrial structure is extremely reasonable.
Xiaogong village is located at the junction of Taisu, closely connected with heta Township and Gaoling township of Susong County, with a border of 128 km, a population of 5328, 191 party members and 51 villager groups. It has 5626 mu of arable land, 5648 mu of mountain farm and 1216 mu of water surface. Yeyan reservoir contains it; 059 county road runs through the South and North, and the slingshot river runs through the East and West; Gehu line, Xiangshang line, JinSu line and Sichuan East gas transmission line are four national routes A large-scale key project runs across the southeast of Xiaogong village; more than 5000 mu of national land leveling project is located in Xiaogong village; Xiaogong villagers are honest, stable, convenient for transportation and rich in products. They are really outstanding people. In 2005, they were merged from the original Qunfeng village, LvDa village and Xiaogong village, which is the largest administrative village in Jiangtang township.
