Renli Shui nationality township is a township under the jurisdiction of Rongjiang County, Guizhou Province. It is located in the middle and north of Rongjiang County, Guizhou Province.
geographical position
Renli Shui nationality township is 26.5 km away from the county seat, with a highway mileage of 63 km. It is adjacent to Chongyi Township in the East, Pingyong town in the South and West, Leli town in the north, and Zhongcheng town in the southeast, with a total area of 83.31 square kilometers.
natural environment
The topography is mainly mountainous, with Valley dams between the mountains, with an average altitude of 600 meters. The main streams are Taiyuan stream, Renji stream, Tongdao stream and Guilu stream, with a total length of 35 km. the rural climate is subtropical humid monsoon climate with mild temperature and annual rainfall of 1400mm, which is a mountainous area with both agriculture and forestry. The township has 7338 mu of arable land, including 5926 mu of paddy field and 1412 mu of dry land. It mainly produces rice, but also Baogu, wheat and potato. It has 5624.65 mu of woodland, mainly fir and pine, followed by firewood forest, tea oil forest, tung oil forest and bamboo forest, with 63.84% of forest coverage.
Historical evolution
The name of Renli is evolved from the Dong language "Le harass, Le Li, Fu Zhai Ren Li", which belongs to 72 Zhai. Renli township was founded in 1956. The government office is located in the current school. Before that, three villages of Renji, dangmin and Tongdao in Renli Township were under the jurisdiction of Chongyi Township, and three villages of Gongjie, Qiaoji and Bailai were under the jurisdiction of Pingyong town. On August 22, 1984, Renli commune was transformed into Renli Shui nationality township, which was built and removed in 1992. The two villages of Taiyuan and shouchang in the former Taiyuan Township were under the jurisdiction of Renli Shui nationality township Shui Nationality Village is composed of eight administrative villages, namely Renji village, Bailai village, dangmin village, Qiaoxi village, Gongjie village, Taiyuan village, shouchang village and Tongdao village. After village merging in 2014, four administrative villages were formed, namely Renji central village, Bailai central village, shouchang central village and Tongdao village.

At present, the township has 4 administrative villages, 54 villager groups, 47 natural villages, 3020 households and a total population of 12378. There are Dong, Shui, Miao and Han nationalities living together in the township. Dong nationality accounts for 46.65%, Shui nationality 27.73%, Han nationality 12.71% and Miao nationality 11.81%.
Tourism culture
Among the three ethnic minorities of Renli, Shui and Miao, Dong has three branches: Renli, qingui and Gongjie belong to 72zhai Dong; Tongdao and qurui belong to Sanbao Dong; Qiaoxi Dong belongs to Tianfu Dong. There are two branches of Miao nationality, one is Miaoli and Jiabang, the other is pailai. Ethnic customs are rich, simple, original, beautiful mountains and rivers, unique natural resources. The rice planting area of the township is 5923 mu. Every year, more than 100 mu of xiligong rice is planted, more than 100 mu of high-yield corn is planted, and more than 100 mu of beans, pepper and other vegetables are planted.
