Ping'an town
Pingan Town, subordinate to Yunyang County of Chongqing, is located in the northwest of Yunyang County, adjacent to Gaoyang town in the East, Renhe street and Bayang town in the south, Tiefeng township of Wanzhou in the west, Yanglu town and Zhaojia town of Kaizhou District in the north, 35 kilometers away from the residence of Yunyang county government, with a total area of 118 square kilometers.
In the early Ming Dynasty, Ping'an town was located in gaoyangli, Anyi township; in October 2006, it was merged into Ping'an town by Guanshi, Bailong and Longtang. By the end of 2018, the population of Ping'an town registered residence was 40674. As of June 2020, Ping'an town has 3 communities and 15 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Ping'an town is located at No. 56 Ping'an Street, Ping'an community.
The main food crops in Ping'an town are rice, wheat and corn; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, cattle and sheep. History of construction
In the early Ming Dynasty, it belonged to gaoyangli, Anyi township.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Shangjia in Gaoyang Township and Xiajia in Baiyan township.
In 1939, it belonged to Gaoyang township.
In November 1951, Guanshi township was established.
In June 1958, Guanshi township was changed into Guanshi commune.
In April 1984, Guanshi commune was changed into Guanshi township.
In October 2006, the three townships of Guanshi, Bailong and Longtang were merged into Ping'an town.
