Xinshui town is located in the political, economic and cultural center of Daning County. It is the most beautiful village in 2016 with superior location and convenient transportation. History of construction
Xinshui town is located in the political, economic and cultural center of Daning County, with a total area of 173.82 square kilometers, a total population of 20996 (2017), and a cultivated land area of 34000 mu. When new China was founded in 1949, Xinshui Town, formerly known as Chengguan people's commune, belonged to the first district of Daning County; in 1954, the village system was implemented, and Chengguan people's commune was under the jurisdiction of 13 natural villages; in 1958, Daning County and Xixian county were merged into Xining County; in 1961, Daning County restored its system, and became the Management Committee of Chengguan people's commune of Daning County, with 10 production teams, 44 production teams and 35 natural villages. In 1984, according to the relevant provisions of the constitution, it was renamed Chengguan town; in 2002, when the township was merged, Chengguan town and Angu Township were merged and Xinshui town was established. Xinshui town has 18 administrative villages and 53 natural villages, including Dongguan, Xiguan, Nanguan, Jiting, shijiaping, gekou, Ducun, mailiu, Angu, dangzhi, Erji, Xiaofeng, luoqu, Shicheng, Xiuyan, Pojiao, Guxiang, Baidu, etc.

Xinshui town starts from the East County boundary of xiahu city in the East, adjacent to Wucheng town in Xixian County; ends at Heyi Gejie stone bridge in the West; ends at Xiuyan, dongtiejiao and Wenxi line in the South; and ends at Beishan management and protection area of state-owned forest farm in the north. It belongs to hilly area. The whole terrain is high in the South and North and low in the middle. Xinshui River flows into the Yellow River from east to west. The terrain on both sides of the valley is gentle and it is the main farming area. The climate is warm temperate sub arid climate zone, with mild climate and four distinct seasons. The annual average sunshine is 2466.7 hours, the annual average temperature is 10.7 ℃, about - 7 ℃ in January and about 23 ℃ in July. In 1949, there were 4251 people in 975 households; in 1978, there were 7597 people in 1594 households; by 2010, there were 3636 households with a total population of 15175 people (including 1850 people in small towns).
