Tangchi
Tangchi town of Shucheng county is subordinate to Shucheng County of Anhui Province. It is located between the Yangtze River and Huaihe River and southwest of Hefei, only 80km away from Hefei. It has jurisdiction over 31 administrative villages and 2 neighborhood committees. The total area of the town is 156.4 square kilometers, with a population of 54000.

Shucheng county was founded in the 23rd year of Kaiyuan (735) of Tang Dynasty. It is divided into Hefei and Lujiang counties. It governs Shucheng County, so it is called Shucheng county.
The historical evolution before the founding of the county can be divided into the following periods
Pre Qin Period
Shudi was a place where barbarians lived in ancient times. Later, it was a concentrated residential area of Shufang state built by the surname of Dongyi Yan. It lasted for three dynasties of Xia, Shang and Western Zhou, and was enfeoffed by the Western Zhou Dynasty. In the spring and Autumn period, with the state of Wu going north, Qunshu attached to Wu. In the third year of Duke Lu's reign (657 BC), Xu took Shu. Later, Chu spread from the north to the East, fighting for the war place for Wu and Chu, and Chu soon became its suzerain state. After the death of Qunshu, Chu did not set up a county because of the old city.
The Qin Dynasty
In the 24th year of the reign of the king of Qin (223 BC), the state of Chu was destroyed and Jiujiang county (zhishouchun) was set up. It is located in six counties (Baisha City, Chengbei Township, Lu'an City).
The Western Han Dynasty
In the fourth year of emperor Gaozu of the Han Dynasty (203 BC), Shu county was set up. In the next year, Longshu county was set up. In the seventh year (200 BC), Liu Xin was granted the title of Marquis genjie, and Lingshu and Longshu counties.
Eastern Han Dynasty
In the fourth year of Jianwu (AD 28), Li Xian was called emperor according to Shu. In September of that year, he was chopped by Ma Cheng and entered the Eastern Han Dynasty. In the first year of Yongping (A.D. 58), Xuchang was granted the title of Marquis of Longshu, so he became Marquis of Longshu.
Three Kingdoms period
In October of the first year of Yankang (220), Cao Wei replaced Han Dynasty. Because it was located in the war between Wu and Wei, it abandoned Longshu, Qianxian and merged into Lu'an County, belonging to Lu'an County, Lujiang County, Yangzhou.
The Western Jin Dynasty
In December 265, the second year of Xianxi reign, in the Western Jin Dynasty and the Wei Dynasty, Longshu county (above Longhekou) and Shuxian county (zhishucheng, now Chengguan town) were restored to Lujiang County of Yangzhou.
Eastern Jin Dynasty
The two counties of Yangquan and Longshu still belong to Lujiang County of Yangzhou. Later, Shucheng (now Chengguan town) was ruled, and later Yuzhou (Shouxian county) was ruled.
Northern and Southern Dynasties
In June of the second year of Yuanxi (420), in the Song Dynasty and Jin Dynasty, Shu county (governing Chengguan town) was set up in this county, which belongs to Lujiang County (governing Shucheng Town, governing Chengguan town) in southern Henan. In the 25th year of Yuanjia (448), the south of Longshu County belonged to lvtingzuo County, while the north still belonged to Shuxian county. In 466, it was transferred to xiyuzhou. The first year of Taiyu (472), belongs to southern Yuzhou.
In April of the third year of Shengming (466), in the Qi Dynasty and Song Dynasty, Shu county was still established, which belongs to Lujiang County of Yuzhou.
In April of the second year of Zhongxing (502), in the Liang Dynasty, Shu county was set up in the Southern Qi Dynasty. Later, Shuxian county was abandoned and transferred to Lujiang County of Xiangzhou.
In the sixth year of Wuding (548), it belonged to the Eastern Wei Dynasty; in the eighth year of Wuding (550), the Northern Qi Dynasty replaced the Eastern Wei Dynasty; in the fifth year of Taijian (573), Chen attacked the Northern Qi Dynasty; in the fifth year of Jiande (576), it belonged to the Northern Zhou Dynasty. Today, the county belongs to Lujiang County of Hezhou.
Sui Dynasty
In February of 581, the first year of Dading in the Northern Zhou Dynasty, the county is still Lujiang County in Hezhou. In the third year of kaihuang (583), Lujiang County was abolished, and Lujiang County was changed into Luzhou. Today, the county is divided into Hefei and Lujiang counties. In April of the third year of Daye (607), Luzhou was changed into Lujiang County, belonging to the Department of governor of Yangzhou.

the tang dynasty
In the 23rd year of Kaiyuan (735), it was divided into the south of Hefei county and the west of Lujiang County, and set up Shucheng county (zhishucheng, now Chengguan town), which belongs to Luzhou of Huainan road. In the first year of Tianbao (742), Luzhou was changed into Lujiang County. In December of the first year of Zhide (756), Lujiang County was changed to Huainan Festival town; in December of the second year, it was renamed Luzhou.
Five Dynasties and ten states
In April of the fourth year of Tianyou (907), the Tang Dynasty died, and Shucheng County belonged to Luzhou, the state of Wu.
Tianzuo three years (937) in October, the Southern Tang Dynasty Wu, Shucheng county is Desheng army, also known as Luzhou Festival town Luzhou.
In March of the fifth year of Xiande (758), the Later Zhou Dynasty changed the Desheng army into the Baoxin army in Luzhou.
Northern Song Dynasty
In the first month of the seventh year of Xiande (760), in the late Zhou Dynasty of the Northern Song Dynasty, Shucheng County belonged to Luzhou. In the third year of Zhidao (997), Luzhou was changed to Huainan road. In 1072, Luzhou was transferred to Huainan West Road. In 1127, the fifth year of the Jin Tianhui reign, the Northern Song Dynasty died, but it still remains.
The Southern Song Dynasty and the state of Jin
In May 1127, Shucheng County belonged to Luzhou, Huainan West Road, Southern Song Dynasty. In the seventh year of Jianyan (1134), Luzhou was once included by Liu Yu and the puppet Qi. In 1138, the Southern Song Dynasty recovered Luzhou. In February, niugao defeated Jin Wushu in Shucheng, belonging to the Southern Song Dynasty.
yuan dynasty
In February of 1276, the 13th year of the Zhiyuan Dynasty, the Yuan Dynasty was descended from Luzhou, and Shucheng county was transferred to Xuanwei Department of Huaixi road in Yuanjiang and Huaihe provinces. In 1291, Shucheng county was transferred to Luzhou Road, Jiangbei Road, Huaixi, Henan Province. In July 1364, the king of Wu, Zhu Yuanzhang, recovered Luzhou road and set up Luzhou Prefecture. Later, it was restored to Yuan soldiers. In the 26th year (1366), the government of Luzhou was restored and became a province in the south of the Yangtze River.
the ming dynasty
In the first month of the second year of Wu Dynasty (1638), Zhu Yuanzhang established the Ming Dynasty and changed the Yuan Dynasty to Hongwu. Shucheng county still belonged to Luzhou Prefecture, a province in the south of the Yangtze River. In August, Luzhou Prefecture was directly under the jurisdiction of Zhongshu province. In the first month of the 13th year of Hongwu (1380), Luzhou government was changed into six departments. In the first year of Yongle (1403), Luzhou Prefecture was changed to Nanjing, later known as nanzhili. In April of 1642, Zhang Xianzhong broke through Shucheng, changed his name to Desheng state and made progress in Luzhou.
On March 19, 1644, when the Ming Dynasty died, Shucheng county still belonged to Luzhou Prefecture of nanzhili. In May of this year, it was transferred to Chuhe town under the Hongguang regime of the Southern Ming Dynasty.
Qing Dynasty
Shunzhi two years (1645) May 16, into the Qing Dynasty, Shucheng county is still south Zhili Luzhou. Shunzhi second year leap June B already, Shucheng county changed to Jiangnan province Luzhou Prefecture. In the sixth year of Kangxi (1667) in July Jiayin, Luzhou Prefecture was changed to Anhui Province, and in the ninth year (1670) in April Dinghai, it was changed to Lufeng road. Yongzheng 13 years (1735) on July 13, changed to Lu Fengying road. In the fourth year of tongzhi (1865), Shucheng county was transferred to Anlu Chuhe daoluzhou Prefecture. On October 29, 1833, the Taiping army occupied Shucheng. On August 6, 1861, all the Taiping troops withdrew from Shucheng county. During the establishment of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, Shucheng County belonged to Luzhou Prefecture of Anhui Province. Guangxu 34 years (1908) may Jiawu, changed to Wanbei road.
On September 19, 1911, the military and government branch of Luzhou restored Shucheng county.
Republic of China
In the first year of the Republic of China, Shucheng county was directly under Anhui Province. In June 2003, it was transferred to Anqing Road, Anhui Province.
In June 1928, keshucheng, the first and second divisions of the seventh army of the national revolutionary army. In July this year, it was transferred to Anhui Province under the Nanjing National Government. In April 21, Shucheng county was changed to the third district. In October of the same year, it was transferred to the third special zone. On June 7, 1938, the national government of Shucheng County moved to zhongmeihe town. At 4 pm on June 8, 1938, the Japanese army occupied Shucheng county. In 1941, the county government moved back to Shucheng. In July, it was transferred to the second special zone.
The late period of the liberation war
On September 8, 1947, the 23rd regiment of the 8th brigade of the 3rd column of the Shanxi Hebei Shandong Henan field army of the Chinese people's Liberation Army liberated the county seat and established the shuliu County Democratic Government (stationed in Maotan factory). The four districts of Shucheng, namely Maozhuyuan, Xiaotian, zhongmeihe and Zhangmuqiao, belonged to the shuliu County democratic government. The Shucheng County Democratic Government (stationed in chengchong) was established and governed by Wusha, Dudian, xishageng, xitangchi and Xiyu Caojiahe and Lujiang mangao, Tongcheng Daguan district (then known as Guanma District). On November 15 of this year, the administrative office of West Anhui was established. Shucheng county belongs to the second district and shuliu county belongs to the third district. On January 21, 1949, the whole county was liberated. On May 1, 1949, the people's Government of Shucheng county was established to restore the old territory. It belongs to the Lu'an District of Wanbei administrative office.
The People's Republic of China
On October 1, 1949, the people's Republic of China was founded. Shucheng county belongs to the Lu'an special area of the people's Administrative Office of Northern Anhui.
In 1955, Shucheng County People's government was renamed Shucheng County People's Committee.
On May 13, 1968, Shucheng County Revolutionary Committee was established.
On November 27, 1979, Shucheng County Revolutionary Committee was renamed Shucheng County People's government.
Tangchi
In 1992, the former Yaohe township was merged into Tangchi Town, known as Tangchi town. It has 20 villagers' committees and one neighborhood committee.
In 2005, the administrative division was adjusted and the original chengchong township was merged into Tangchi Town, which is called Tangchi town. Because there is also Tangchi town in Lujiang County, it is called xitangchi town. It has 31 villagers' committees and one neighborhood committee.
It has not changed so far.
