Tangchi
Tangchi town belongs to Lujiang County, Hefei City, Anhui Province. It is located in the west of Lujiang County, at the junction of Hefei, Lu'an and Anqing. It is 22 kilometers away from Lucheng Town, Lujiang County, and borders on Tongcheng and Shucheng.
Tangchi town covers an area of 91.9 square kilometers (2017), with a population of 33642 (2017).
Historical evolution
In the early Western Zhou Dynasty, Shu, Shuyong, Chao and other states were established in Huainan area, and Tangchi belonged to Shu state. In the spring and Autumn period, the state of Shu was annexed by the state of Wu, and Tangchi belonged to the territory of Wu. After Xu people took Shu, it was the land of Chu. Tangchi belonged to the territory of Chu. After Qin destroyed the six states, Tangchi belonged to Shuyi.
Tangchi hot spring, known as kengquan in ancient times, is recorded in Wanzhi (Lujiang part) of Qing Dynasty: "there is Tangchi hot spring 50 miles northwest of Lujiang City, corresponding to the West Tangchi of Shucheng city.".
The state of Lujiang was founded in the 15th year of Emperor Wen of the Western Han Dynasty (164 BC). There was a "Keng spring" divided into the East and the West. Tangchi was also called Dongkeng spring, later called dongtangchi.
In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Tangchi belonged to Shu County, Lujiang County.
During the Three Kingdoms period, it was under the jurisdiction of Wu and then Wei.
In the third year of Daye (607 AD) of Sui Dynasty, Luzhou was changed into Lujiang County. The county government was built in Hefei, and tangkeng belonged to Lujiang County.
Tang Wude three years (620), Lujiang County changed to Luzhou, Tangchi also belongs to Luzhou. In 742, Tang Tianbao changed Luzhou into Lujiang County, and Tangchi also belonged to Lujiang County.
In the Northern Song Dynasty, Tangchi was called tangkeng spring.
Tangchi street was built in the middle of Ming Dynasty, because of its junction with Shucheng County, it was called Jiepai Town at that time. Tangchi Town, Qingzeng. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty, Tangchi was listed as one of the twelve towns in the county. Guangxu's "Lujiang County annals" records that there are Tangchi, Jiepai, damacao, xiaomachao and other towns in Jingxi township. Tangchi street was once known as 13 households, Tangbai village and Jintang ancient town.
At the beginning of the Republic of China (1912), Tangchi belonged to the West Township of Lujiang.
From June 1914 to August 1928, dongtangchi belonged to Lujiang County, Anqing road.
In 1948, it belonged to the third district of Lujiang County.
In February 1949, Tangchi belonged to Ketan district. In the autumn of the same year, machao township was established. It has jurisdiction over Guoshu, niuchong, Fuling, Baihua, Datang, Songyuan, etc.
In February 1952, Anhui Province abolished Chaohu District, Lujiang County was subordinate to Wuhu District, and Tangchi district was under the jurisdiction of Wuhu district.
In December 1955, Nanqiao district was merged into Tangchi district.
In January 1962, Tangchi district was restored. The large commune was divided into small communes. Tangchi commune and Changgang commune were divided into Tangchi commune, mangao commune, Guoshu commune, Shiqiao commune, Changgang commune, Yuemiao commune and changchong commune.
On July 14, 1965, Lujiang County was under the leadership of Chaohu District, and Tangchi district was one of the eight districts in the county.
In August 1968, the Tangchi District Revolutionary Committee was established. Exercise the power of the party, government, finance and culture.
In April 1984, the communes of Tangchi district changed their names to townships, and the brigade changed to administrative villages.
In March 1992, Tangchi district was abolished. The original Tangchi, mangao, Guoshu and Shiqiao townships were merged to form the Tangchi Town People's government.

Tangchi town is a town under the jurisdiction of Lujiang County, Hefei City, Anhui Province. It is located in the west of Lujiang County between the Yangtze River and Huaihe River in central Anhui Province, at the junction of Hefei, Lu'an and Anqing. It is adjacent to Wanshan town and Ketan town in the East, Guohe town and Jinniu Town in the north, Shucha town in Shucheng County in the West and Daguan town in Tongcheng City in the south. 31-23 n, 117-109 E. The East-West horizontal distance is 7.5 km, the North-South vertical distance is 12 km, and the area is 91.9 square kilometers (2017). It is 23 kilometers away from Lujiang County and 70 kilometers away from Hefei, the provincial capital.

Tangchi town is located in the eastern edge of the Dabie Mountains, and the Tanlu fault zone passes through, so the structure is complex. The mountain area belongs to the late Jurassic igneous strata in the front subsidence zone of Dabie platform anticline. There are quartz syenite, syenite and other neutral crystalline rocks and tuff, shale, phyllite and other argillaceous rocks exposed. The North subsidence zone (fan area) is covered with thick quaternary upper Pleistocene Xiashu formation and Holocene loose sediments.
The general landform trend of Tangchi town is higher in the South and southwest, and lower in the East and North, with a southwest to northeast slope. The continuous low mountains and hills in the South and west of the town (i.e. the south of shulugan canal) belong to the edge of Dabie Mountain, with an altitude of 80-598m.

The low mountains and hills of Tangchi town can be divided into southwest low mountains and hills dominated by neutral rocks, hills dominated by argillaceous rocks, and hilly and gully basins.
climate
Tangchi town is located in the middle latitude zone, belonging to the north subtropical humid monsoon climate zone. It is cold in winter, changeable in spring, hot in summer, crisp in autumn, and slightly higher than the same latitude in the world. The rainfall is concentrated in summer, with more plum rains, but it is prone to drought in the empty plum season. Affected by the continental thermal low and the Pacific subtropical high, the southerly flow from the ocean prevails.

In the Tang Dynasty, one hundred households were Li, five li were Xiang, and Tangchi was one of the twelve townships in Lujiang County. In the third year of Xining of Song Dynasty (1070 AD), after cutting Lujiang River and Chaoxian county and establishing Wuwei County, there was only one city and five townships in Lujiang River, with jurisdiction of 19 Li, while Tangchi belonged to Xixiang, with jurisdiction of 2 li.
In the Yuan Dynasty, there were 19 Li in the county, of which 5 Li were under the jurisdiction of Tangchi.
In the Ming Dynasty, there were 20 Li in both urban and rural areas of Lujiang. In the 42nd year of Jiajing, Tangchi belonged to Lujiang township (all ruling the northwest), which was between the first map (LI) and the second map (LI).
In the early Qing Dynasty, the old system of the late Ming Dynasty was still followed. There were 1 general class A in urban and rural areas and 10 small class A under them.
In 1910, Lujiang County was divided into eight districts and 89 baos. Tangchi was subordinate to the Sixth District of Lujiang County, which was Xixiang, the Sixth District. It was located in dongtangchi Town, and had nine baos: Tangchi, xujiagang, huangtianlong, Shenjiashan, yikesong, Huanglishu, Miaogang, Shilipu and sanshilipu.
After the revolution of 1911, the system of prefectural administration was carried out. Tangchi is subordinate to Xixiang of Lujiang River. Xixiang governs No.1, No.2, No.3, No.4 map and 61 general land. The next is the Lu neighborhood, the five households are the neighbors, and the five neighbors are the Lu.
In 1930, the county established 11 district offices, and Tangchi was divided into eight districts.

From December 1946 to March 1947, 45 townships and one town were successively reduced to 30 townships and one town. Tangchi Township governs 14 Bao. Yuanjue Township in the west of sanlipu, jurisdiction 10 Bao.
On September 11, 1947, Chengguan, Baishan, Tangchi and Huangnihe districts and Jiji town were established.
Huxi County democratic government was established in December 1947. It first governed Tangchi, Ketan, Baishan, Luobu and Shengqiao districts. The township level political power was not yet perfect. The county government was located in the big and small mangao, Tangchi and Ketan areas. Tangchi District governs Fuling and Yuanjue townships.
In August 1948, Huxi county was divided into Lujiang and Huxi counties. Lujiang County is located in the West and northwest of Lucheng, with Jinniu, Tangchi, Ketan and Chengguan under its jurisdiction. Tangchi district is under the jurisdiction of Tangchi, Yuanjue, baishen and miaoguang. After Huxi was merged into Lujiang River in July 1949, the district was subsequently abolished.
In July 1949, Huxi county was merged into Lujiang, and the people's Government of Lujiang County was established. It is subordinate to Chaohu special office in Northern Anhui. There are District People's governments and CPC district committees below the county level. There are 67 townships in seven districts of the county. Tangchi and machao are under the jurisdiction of Ketan district.
Tangchi district was established in July 1950, under the jurisdiction of five townships: mangao, Tangchi, Yuanjue, 20bu and miaoguang. In August, Yongqiao township was transferred from Ketan district to Tangchi district.
In July 1950, Luobu, Peigang, leqiao and Tangchi were added to the county. Tangchi District first governs five townships: Tangchi, mangao, Yuanjue, 20pu and miaoguang. In December 1955, there were eight districts, one town directly under the jurisdiction of the county, 99 townships, four Township Level neighborhood committees, and agricultural production cooperatives under the jurisdiction of the countryside.
