Tongxi town

Tongxi Town, belonging to Hechuan District of Chongqing, is located in the western suburb of Hechuan district. It faces heyangcheng street across the river with Fujiang River in the East, Nanjin Street in the south, Baiyang town and Shuikou Town in Tongliang District in the west, and Weituo town in the north. It is 17 kilometers away from the people's Government of Hechuan District, with a total area of 83.59 square kilometers.

In the third year of Qiande in the Northern Song Dynasty (965), it belonged to tongqi Town, Shizhao County, Hezhou. In August 1985, it was changed from Tongxi township to Tongxi town. By the end of 2018, the population of Tong Xi town registered residence was 41148. As of June 2020, Tongxi town has one community, nine administrative villages and the people's Government of Tongxi town is located at 238 new street.

In 2018, there were 56 industrial enterprises in Tongxi Town, including 5 Enterprises above Designated Size and 17 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In the third year of Qiande in the Northern Song Dynasty (965), it belonged to tongqi Town, Shizhao County, Hezhou.

In Yuan Dynasty, tongqi town was renamed Tongxi town.

Qing Yongzheng six years (1728), belong to Hezhou yongqingli. In 1906, it belonged to Yongqing town.

In 1931, it belonged to the ninth district. In 1939, it belonged to the first district. In 1941, Tongxi town was changed to Tongxi township.

After December 1949, it belongs to the Sixth District.

In February and March 1953, Tongxi township was divided into Tongxi Township, Tonghe Township and Tongxing township.

In March 1956, Tonghe Township and Tongxing Township were merged into Tongxi township.

In September 1958, Tongxi town and Tongxi Township merged to form Tongxi commune.

In December 1983, Tongxi township was changed into Tongxi commune.

In August 1985, Tongxi township was changed into Tongxi town.

In June 2001, Jiuling Township and Zaojiao town were merged into Tongxi town.
