Yongfeng Town, subordinate to Zhongxian County of Chongqing City, is located in the middle and west of Zhongxian County, bordering Sanhui town and Baishi town in the East, Baishi town of Zhongxian County in the south, Bashan town in the West and Maguan town of Zhongxian County in the north. It is 20 kilometers away from Zhongxian County government, with a total area of 53 square kilometers.
In 1911, Yongfeng town was changed from Yongfeng town to Yongfeng town in September 1992. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Yongfeng town was 21485. As of June 2020, Yongfeng town has 2 communities and 7 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Yongfeng town is located at No. 1 Ziwei Road.

History of construction

In 1911, Yongfeng Township was established.
In 1921, it belonged to the fourth district. In 1930, it belonged to the Sixth District. In 1935, Yongfeng Township was removed and Yongling joint insurance was set up. In 1937, Yongfeng Township was restored. In 1940, Yongfeng Township was divided into Yongfeng Township and Lingyun township. In 1941, Yongfeng Township and Lingyun Township merged into Yongfeng Township.
In October 1958, Yongfeng Township was changed into Yongfeng commune.
In January 1962, Yongfeng commune established Lingyun commune.
In January 1984, Yongfeng commune was changed into Yongfeng Township.
In September 1992, Yongfeng Township was changed into Yongfeng town.

In 2011, Yongfeng town has one community of Lagerstroemia indica, eight administrative villages of Dongfang, Taiyang, Guanqiao, Tuanfeng, Lingyun, liming, Shuangfeng and Shifeng, and four resident groups and 68 villager groups.
As of June 2020, Yongfeng town has jurisdiction over two communities and seven administrative villages: Ziwei community, Lingyun community, Dongfang village, Taiyang village, Guanqiao village, Shifeng village, Shuangfeng Village, Liming Village and Tuanfeng village. The lowest point Baishi reservoir is located at the intersection of Shuangfeng Village and Baishi Town, with an altitude of 280 meters.
