Jinxing town is located in the northeast of Huludao City and the east of Nanpiao District, in the urban agglomeration and coastal tourism area of Liaoxi corridor. It borders Taihe District of Jinzhou City in the East, 20 kilometers away from Jinzhou City, 25 kilometers away from Jinzhou port and 15 kilometers away from Jinzhou civil aviation airport. It is adjacent to taijitun town in the north, hongluoxian town and Daxing Township in the West and southwest respectively, and 40 km away from Huludao City.

Jinxing town is adjacent to Shenshan railway, Qinhuangdao Shenyang electrified railway, Beijing Shenyang Expressway, JINDA highway and Hujin highway in the East, so the traffic is very convenient. The second largest river in Huludao City, the nuerhe River, runs through the whole town and is rich in groundwater resources.
