Yinong town
Yinong town is subordinate to Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is located at the east end of Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou city. It is adjacent to Shangyu District, Shaoxing City in the East, Keqiao District, Shaoxing City in the south, dangwan town in the west, Xiaoshan Linjiang Industrial Park in Hangzhou City in the north, and 20km away from Xiaoshan International Airport. It is rich in "Xiaoshan dried radish" and "Shaoxing mouldy dried vegetables".
Jieyinong town has a total area of 46.5 square kilometers (2017), with 47275 people (2017). As of August 2014, Yinong town has jurisdiction over 19 administrative villages and 1 community. In 2015, the total output value of the whole town was 2.534 billion yuan, the total output value of industries above designated size was 9.133 billion yuan, the total export value was 79.5 million US dollars, the total fiscal revenue was 232 million yuan, the local fiscal revenue was 119 million yuan, the investment in fixed assets was 598.85 million yuan, and the per capita disposable income of farmers was 28801 yuan.

Historical evolution
In the 1950s, most of Yinong town was the tidal flat of Qiantang River Estuary. Its western half was originally Jiazao Township, belonging to Shaoxing County. At that time, many villagers mainly used sun drying to produce salt. They first used the ancient cooking technology to produce salt. Each place was separated by two stoves, so it was named Jiazao.
In February 1956, it was transferred to Xiaoshan. It was a part of Qunying people's commune in 1958, Dangshan commune in 1959 and Jiazao commune in 1961. Since November 1966, the communes of Jiazao, Dangshan, Changsha and Guali have organized farmers to reclaim the eastern tidal flats, and set up a headquarters for benefiting farmers. By 1977, five times of reclamation had been carried out. Since 1971, it has been gradually resettled. In February 1976, the preparatory group for the establishment of the Yinong people's commune was established. In January 1978, Yinong commune was formally established. In May 1984, Jiazao and Yinong communes were changed into Jiazao Township and Yinong township. In May 1992, the two townships merged into Yinong town.
In January 2006, the area of 26.4 square kilometers, adjacent to Qiantang River in the East, Shaoxing County in the southeast, Yinong town in the south, Xijiao No.1 agricultural reclamation farm in the South and waishisan section Henghe in the north, which was originally entrusted to Xiaoshan District Agricultural Comprehensive Development Office, was assigned to Yinong town. Its administrative region and name are still in use today.
In March 2015, Xiaoshan District Party committee and government adjusted the platform system of the Development Zone, and assigned 30 square kilometers of Yinong town to the development zone as an industrial development block. The planning area of Yinong block in the development zone is about 37.4 square kilometers, reaching Xiaoshao boundary and emergency River in the East, Sanyi line in the south, Qianjiang channel in the West and hongshiwu line in the north.

Yinong town is located on the South Bank of Qiantang River, in the center of Xiaoshao plain, at the junction of Hangzhou and Shaoxing.
