Shuanglong town is located in the "Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone" on the east side of Huancheng South Road in Guiyang city. It covers an area of 20 square kilometers of China Railway International Tourist Resort, about 6 kilometers away from Longdongbao International Airport and 15 kilometers away from Guiyang city center.

The project design unit is Sichuan Huatai Zhongcheng Engineering Design Co., Ltd., which is built by a group of experienced architects.

Yunqi Valley, where Shuanglong town is located, has Yuelong Avenue (Guilong longitudinal line) in the East, Zhongtie Avenue in the west, yunqi No.1 road and Guixin Expressway in the south, and Wushan canyon with a total length of 8 km runs through it. Wushan gorge is the nearest Gorge Scenic Spot to Guiyang City, with a depth of 100 meters, upright cliffs on both sides, dense vegetation on the hillside, crisp birdsong and fresh air. On the cliff deep in the canyon, we can still see mysterious and ancient rock paintings left by aborigines thousands of years ago.

After seeing Wushan gorge where Shuanglong town is located, the design team discussed with the developer for many times, and decided to use "international Chinese style", combining traditional technical symbols with modern fashion materials, to do what people like and are willing to accept, keep pace with the times, and create an international life style of eastern charm and Western style.

Architect Fu Anping initially established the "soul" for this project: there is a mountain in Guizhou, on which there is a street, a courtyard on the street, and water in the courtyard. Today's Shuanglong town is built on the basis of gorge landform and mountains, combined with the value of the earth vein and cultural heritage, returning to the Chinese people's thousands of years of courtyard street life complex, creating a Chinese courtyard style courtyard street. "The courtyard Street on the mountain" is naturally scattered because of the different sizes of the courtyard, forming a wide street and narrow lane, which is prosperous when it comes out and quiet when it comes in.

Adhering to the respect for Guizhou ancient culture and traditional architectural concept, Shuanglong town reasonably arranges the spatial planning and tourism layout, interprets traditional national culture and customs with Chinese courtyard, and injects modern leisure and vacation concept to express poetic dwelling life between mountains and rivers and the end of clouds and sky, so as to create a combination of canyon tourism, small town sightseeing and cultural communication in Guizhou and even southwest China National AAAA cultural leisure resort demonstration area.

Shuanglong town won the title of "the most tourist town in Guizhou Province".

At the end of 2016, China Railway cloud Qigu Shuanglong town was rated as a national AAAA level cultural tourist attraction.

On May 1, 2017, the glass plank road was completed and opened to tourists.
