Caojiawan town
Caojiawan Town, subordinate to Longxian County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the central and western part of Longxian County, connecting Chengguan town in the East, Tiancheng town in the south, Guguan town in the west, xinjichuan town and Wenshui town in the north. The maximum distance between East and West is 21.01 km, and the maximum distance between North and south is 28.8 km, with a total area of 215.02 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, caojiawan town has eight administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence of Cao Jia Wan Town was 19061. In 2011, caojiawan town had a total agricultural output value of 162 million yuan, 198 commercial outlets and a total financial revenue of 1.76 million yuan.
Historical evolution
Cao family moved here, and is located in qianheshanwan named.
In 1949, it belonged to caojiawan Township, Guguan district.
In 1955, it was in caojiawan district.
In 1958, it belonged to the eighth commune of red flag, with jurisdiction over four administrative areas.
In 1959, it was called caojiawan commune.
In 1966, it was renamed Hongwei commune.
In 1979, it was restored to caojiawan commune.
In 1984, it was restored to caojiawan Township, with jurisdiction over 21 administrative villages.
In June 1997, the township was transformed into a town.

In 2000, the administrative villages under its jurisdiction remained unchanged.
In July 2005, the villages were removed and merged. Buwan village, Xiawan village and chenjiacao village were merged to build caojiawan village. Dongyu village, Xiyue village, yujiayao village and doupo village were merged to build Hongxing Village. Wangjiawan village was merged into sanliying village. Shican village was merged into Sanlian Village. Yiping village was merged into Duanjiaxia village.
By the end of 2011, caojiawan town had 13 administrative villages including caojiawan, Duanjiaxia, Sanlian, caojiashan, Liuqu, Nanpo, Hongxing, jiaochangyuan, xianyiguan, mijiashan, Jinshan Temple, Yuexian and sanliying, and 77 villager groups.
As of June 2020, caojiawan town has eight administrative villages. The people's government is stationed in caojiawan village.

Caojiawan town is located at the foot of Guanshan Mountain, which belongs to Longshan mountain and Weibei Loess erosion landform. Qianhe River and Xianyi River belong to river valley area, the southwest belongs to Loess Plateau hilly gully area, and the North belongs to Guanshan hilly area, with an altitude of 800-2305 meters.

The climate of caojiawan town is warm temperate semi humid continental monsoon climate. The annual average temperature is 10.8 ℃ and the frost free period is 195 days. The annual average precipitation is 562.0 mm, and the rainfall is mainly concentrated from July to September.
Water system hydrology
The main rivers in caojiawan town are Qianhe River, Xianyi River and shigangou river. Qianhe is the largest river in the territory. Ganhe flows through Duanjiaxia and caojiawan from Sanlian Village to caojiashan, with a flow length of 5.8km, a drainage area of 145.1km2 and an average annual flow of 5.6m3/s.
