Xinnongxiang
Xinnong Township, belonging to Nong'an County, Changchun City, Jilin Province, is located in the northeast of Nong'an county. It faces Biangang township of Dehui city across Yitong River in the East, wanjinta Township in the south, Xiaochengzi Township in the west, huangyuquan Township, Qingshankou Township and Baoshan town in the north. It is 43 kilometers away from Nong'an County, with a total area of 184 square kilometers.
In 1889, Xinnong Township belonged to Nongle commune; in 1983, it was changed from Xinnong commune to Xinnong township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in new rural areas was 37827. As of June 2020, Xinnong township has 14 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is located in fengmupu village.
In 2018, there were 15 industrial enterprises in Xinnong Township, including one above scale and 80 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
Qing Guangxu 15 years (1889), is a Nongle society. In 1910, it belonged to four districts.
In 1926, it belonged to the new three districts. During the period of northeast occupied by Japanese, it belonged to Ping'an Village. In 1947, xiwobao village was set up in wanjinta district.
In 1949, xiwobao village was renamed guzian village.
In 1956, guzian village was changed into Xin'an township.
In 1957, it belonged to wanjinta District, and Xin'an township was renamed Xinnong township.
In 1958, Xinnong township was renamed Xin'an township.
In 1961, Xin'an township was transformed into a new rural commune.
In 1983, Xinnong commune was changed into Xinnong township.
