Shuitou Town is located in the south of Nan'an City, 28 kilometers away from the urban area. It has jurisdiction over 4 communities and 28 administrative villages. The town government is located in Xiasheng road. The area is about 127 square kilometers. 324 National Highway, Shuitou Liuwudian highway, Anhai Shuitou highway and Fuxia Expressway pass through.

There is a Panlong Development Zone in Shuitou Town, and the historic sites include Anping bridge (Wuli Bridge) and Zheng Chenggong tomb.

Historical evolution
