Thar Lake Town
Ta'erhu Town, belonging to Wuyuan County, Bayannaoer City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Wuyuan County. It is adjacent to xingongzhong town in the East, Taohai town in the southeast, Fuxing town in the south, tianjitai town in the southwest, Xinhua Town and ulantuk town in Linhe District in the West, yindingtu town in the northwest, Wuzhong banner in the north and xingongzhong town in the northeast. It covers an area of 428.47 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Tal Hu town was 46800.
In 1942, when the new county system was implemented, Lake thar was the seat of the government of Yanjiang county (later renamed Dalate Houqi). In 1958, after the merger of Qi County, it was changed into a township under the jurisdiction of the county, and the township was named bayantla (rich tan in Mongolian). As of June 2020, Talhu town has jurisdiction over one community and 20 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in six communities of Chunguang village.
In 2018, there were 30 industrial enterprises and 78 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Talhu town.
Historical evolution

The terrain of ta'erhu town is flat, slightly higher in the West and lower in the East, higher in the north and lower in the south, with an average altitude of 1028.6 meters. At the end of 2011, the total number of person days in the area under the jurisdiction of thar lake town was 40571, including 5324 urban permanent residents, with an urbanization rate of 13%. The main food crops are wheat, corn and sorghum, producing 101756 tons of grain, including 30156 tons of wheat, 65100 tons of corn and 6500 tons of sorghum. The main economic crops are sunflower, sugar beet, melon and vegetable, white melon seed, red and black seed melon seed and tomato. Transportation
The Wushan highway of Talhu town crosses the town from east to west, and the north line of Wushan highway and Liuhai highway meet here. From the town 8 km north to yindingtu Town, 15 km southwest, connecting 110 national highway, 35 km south to Fuxing Town, directly to Wuyuan County Railway Station. The road between villages is unblocked, achieving the goal of connecting the village to the regular bus and the community to the grade road. The total mileage of the village grade road is 240 km.
