Xinxing town

Xinxing town is located in the north of Sanyuan County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province. It is adjacent to Lingqian town by Zhuoyu River in the East, Luqiao town in the south, cuoe town by Qingyu River in the West and Xiaoqiu town in Yaozhou District of Tongchuan City in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 4.7 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 13.3 km, with a total area of 77.91 square kilometers.

As of June 2020, Xinxing town has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages. As of 2018, the number of registered residence in new towns was 29405. Historical evolution

At the beginning, he came here to build a village with the surname of sun, which was named Sun Village. Later, he renamed it Xinxing town as Xinxing market town.

The Tang Dynasty belonged to Fengyuan township.

Ming Zhengtong seven years (1442), under the Qinghe township.

In 1657 (the 14th year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty), it was subordinate to "zhongshili".
