Nanzamu town

Nanzamu Town, subordinate to Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northwest of Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County. It is connected with Hongtoushan town in Qingyuan Manchu Autonomous County in the East and North, Shangjiahe Town in the South and Zhangdang town in Dongzhou District in the West. It covers an area of 95.65 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of South Za Mu was 18808.

In 1952, nanzamu was assigned to Muqi District of Xinbin county. In 1956, Muqi district was abolished and nanzamu township was established. In 1961, nanzamu commune was established. In 1964, nanzamu town was built. In 1983, the commune was transformed into a town. As of June 2020, nanzamu town has jurisdiction over 3 communities and 6 administrative villages, and the people's Government of nanzamu town is located at 53 Xincheng Road.

In 2018, there were 11 industrial enterprises in nanzamu Town, including 11 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 15 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Qing Dynasty belongs to Xingjing Prefecture.

In the Republic of China, it belongs to Xingjing county.

Before 1926, it belonged to Tieling county.

In 1926, nanzamuhuoluo and langtougou were assigned to Qingyuan County.

During the period of Japanese puppet rule, nanzamu village was set up, with jurisdiction over Liujiazi, lanmuqiaozi, Mianyang, beizamu, nanzamu, Chaoyang, beside the national highway, jinmugou and nierku, belonging to Cangshi District of Qingyuan County.

In 1948, nanzamu was liberated and the seventh district government moved back to nanzamu.

In 1949, the seventh district government was abolished, and nanzamu and other villages were assigned to nankouqian district.

In 1952, nanzamu was assigned to Muqi District of Xinbin county.

In 1956, Muqi district was abolished and nanzamu township was established.

In 1958, nanzamu township was transformed into nanzamu production and management area, which was assigned to Hongqi commune of Xinbin county.

In 1961, nanzamu commune was established.

In 1964, nanzamu town was built.

In 1983, the commune was transformed into a town.

In 1999, zhuanwanzi village in Fushun County and langtougou village in Qingyuan County were assigned to nanzamu town.

Nanzamu town is located in the Longgang mountains of Changbai Mountain system. The terrain is high in the South and low in the north. The highest point is at xidashan, with an altitude of 654 meters; the lowest point is at zhuanwanzi village, with an altitude of 123 meters.
