Nanzhan street belongs to Wenshang County, Jining City, Shandong Province. On June 30, 2020, Nanzhan town of Wenshang County was abolished and Nanzhan street was established. It is located in the south of Wenshang County, bordering Yiqiao town of Wenshang County in the East, KANGYI town in the south, Liulou town in the southwest, Ciqiu town in the West and Zhongdu street in the north, with an administrative area of 95.56 square kilometers.
After 1948, Nanzhan Street belonged to the second district; in 1956, it belonged to two townships of Liyin and Nanzhan; in September 1958, Yiqiao and Nanzhan merged to establish Dongfeng commune and stationed in Nanzhan; in December 1958, it was changed into Nanzhan commune; in 1962, it was divided into Yiqiao and Nanzhan commune; in May 1984, it was abolished to establish Nanzhan district; in February 1986, it was withdrawn to establish Nanzhan town. In July 2008, the economic development zone was merged into the city. As of the end of 2018, the South Station Street had 93045 registered residence population. As of June 2020, 54 administrative villages were under the jurisdiction of the south station, the South Office South Village and the South Station North Village.

History of construction
After 1948, Nanzhan street belongs to the second district.
In 1956, it belonged to two townships of Liyin and Nanzhan.
In September 1958, Yiqiao and South Railway Station merged and established Dongfeng commune, which was stationed in South Railway Station.
In December 1958, it was changed into Nanzhan commune.
In 1962, it was divided into two communes: Yiqiao commune and Nanzhan commune.
In May 1984, the South Railway Station commune was abolished and the South Railway Station District was established.
In February 1986, Nanzhan town was set up.
In July 2008, the economic development zone was incorporated.
