Yangpingguan town belongs to Ningqiang County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the west of Ningqiang County. It is adjacent to daijiaba town in the East, Shujiaba town in the south, yanzibian town in the West and taiyangling town in the north. The total area is 300.61 square kilometers.
In August 2009, Yangpingguan town was identified as a provincial key town by Shaanxi provincial government. There are Sanquan County site and Longmen cave, which are municipal cultural relics protection units.
As of June 2020, Yangpingguan town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 18 administrative villages. By the end of 2018, 34758 people registered residence in Yang Ping Guan. Historical evolution
It was also known as Guantou and Guancheng in Shuhan period of the Three Kingdoms, and changed its name to Yangpingguan in Northern Song Dynasty.
Shuhan of the Three Kingdoms is called Yangan pass.
Yangping pass was changed in the Northern Song Dynasty.
The Qing Dynasty belongs to ningqiangzhou West Road, which is Yangping pass.
In 1937, Yangpingguan town was set up.
In 1950, Yangpingguan township was established.

History and culture
In the Western Han Dynasty and the Three Kingdoms period, it was named Yangpingguan, which was the main gateway of northern Sichuan. In the Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Sanquan county directly under the central government. The Sanquan County site in the west of the town still exists.
In the spring of 1935, the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army set up Yangping County as the seat of the county Party committee and the county Soviet government. It was an important town next only to the county seat and the first established town in Hanzhong by the provincial government.
Zilong mountain
