Luozhuang town

Luozhuang town is a township under the jurisdiction of Xiayi county. It is located in the southwest of Xiayi County, adjacent to Huiting town in the East, Zhongfeng town in the west, yemiao town and Matou town in the south, and Jiyang town in the north. Luozhuang town government resident, 25 kilometers away from the county.

Evolution of organizational system

In Ming and Qing Dynasties, it belonged to guide prefecture (now Suiyang District). After 1912, it belonged to the third district of Shangqiu County (now Jiyang town). In the spring of 1950, it belonged to Gushu county. In August 1952, it belonged to the Ninth District of Xiayi county (now Jiyang town). In 1958, it belonged to Jiyang and Matou communes. In January 1975, it belonged to Matou commune. In August 1977, it established Luozhuang people's commune. In 1984, it was changed into Luozhuang township. In 2011, it established Luozhuang town.

Luozhuang town has 20 administrative villages and 118 natural villages. There are 20 administrative villages in Luozhuang East, Lilou, Donggao, Luozhuang West, liuhutong, liucaiyuan, heganglou, hesanlou, Menglou, hezhai, xuloutai, jiangge, Liying, yanhongzhuang, Liangzhuang, sunwangzhuang, malau, Sizhuang, xuwafang and Sunlou.

Located 25 kilometers southwest of Xiayi, it is adjacent to Dongsha River in the south, Shangyong road and dangbo road in the north, and runs through the north and south. In the west, it is 20 kilometers away from the Beijing Kowloon artery. More than 1600 program-controlled telephones have been newly installed in the township, with convenient transportation and information. It has jurisdiction over 26 administrative villages and 186 villager groups, with a total population of 28895 people (in 2017). The cultivated land area is 43000 mu. More than 60% of the land in the township is soft sandy soil, and the natural conditions for agricultural production are good. It is rich in wheat, cotton, Chinese herbal medicine, daylily, moss stem agricultural products, among which dehydrated daylily, moss stem vegetable, vermicelli, waterproof coating and other industrial and agricultural products are well-known at home and abroad.

The township covers an area of 47.7 square kilometers, including 43000 mu of cultivated land, 1100 mu of garden land, 10700 mu of residential land, 97 mu of transportation land and 144 mu of water conservancy facilities. Compared with 2000, the garden area decreased by 2.1%, the forest area decreased by 1.3%, the residential land increased by 0.9%, the transportation land increased by 3.5%, and the water conservancy land decreased by 0.2%. At present, land consolidation and reclamation can supplement 9500 mu of arable land, accounting for 0.13% of the total area.

Water resources

Luozhuang township has a flat terrain and dense rivers, with Dasha River and Xiaosha River as the main water system; the annual rainfall in wet season is about 1200 mm, and that in dry season is about 600 mm; there are 24 rivers, ditches and diversion canals, with an average annual utilization of 97 million cubic meters of water resources.

Since the reform and opening up, the economy has developed relatively fast, and the primary and tertiary industries have made continuous progress. Luozhuang township is the gathering place of sweater wholesale and retail in Henan Province.

The primary, secondary and tertiary industrial structure of the township is biased, and the secondary industry develops slowly. The grain crops are mainly wheat and corn, and the cash crops are mainly peanut, soybean, tobacco and daylily. The tertiary industry is mainly engaged in woolen products and small leather goods.

The total output value of the primary industry of the township is increasing; the total grain yield per unit area is increasing; and the oil production is at the middle level of the county. The development of characteristic industries include medicinal materials, tangerine, etc., animal husbandry is mainly to fatten sheep, and forestry is mainly to cultivate fast-growing poplar.

The power machinery and supporting machines for field operation are increasing, the comprehensive mechanization operation rate of agriculture is increasing, and the mechanization operation rate of crops is increasing.

Industrial projects include Zhongcheng non-woven Garment Co., Ltd., Baiyi glass processing Co., Ltd., Dajing distillery, Tianlong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., etc.; the characteristic blocky economic development takes "one village, one product" and "one industry in one township" as the income increasing points, and the characteristic highlight projects are mainly woolen sweater wholesale and retail industry, with 13 characteristic highlight villages, 12730 employees in the township and an annual income of 320 million yuan.

Urban construction

Taking the town government as the center, 150 meters and 120 meters west to Liubai highway and north to Shangyong highway (south line) are planned for construction land. Four central villages, namely Lilou, hezhai, hesanlou and Jiang, and eight grassroots villages, namely xuloutai, sunwangzhuang, liucaiyuan, Donggao, malau, Menglou, Tianzhuang and heganglou, are planned.

The construction of new countryside has been steadily promoted. The demonstration village focuses on industrial development, infrastructure construction, rural environmental improvement, improvement of farmers' quality and construction of village level organizations.
