Dongcuo Township
Dongcuo Township, located in Gaize County, Ali Prefecture, Tibet, is remote and inaccessible. In a small grassland Town, the main residents are Tibetans and some Hui people from Qinghai. From the map, its existence is so independent, only such a gravel road connected with the outside world. The inconvenience of transportation can't hide its attraction.

Gaize County governs township. It is located in the southeast end of the county, adjacent to NIMA County, Coqin county and Zhongba county. Dongcuo district was established in April 1964. In 1996, it had a population of about 3200 and governed four townships, including three administrative villages in Dongcuo Township, four administrative villages in Luopo Township, four administrative villages in yongcuo Township and three administrative villages in Senduo township. In 2001, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, and Dongcuo Township and Gumu Township were established.
