Zhongtian Township
Zhongtian Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Pingchuan District, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Pingchuan District, bordering Haiyuan County of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in the East, Fuxing township of Pingchuan District in the south, Gaowan township of Jingyuan County in the West and Huangqiao township of Pingchuan District in the North, with a total administrative area of 192.9 square kilometers.
In 1959, a farming commune was established; in 1983, it was changed into a farming township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the village was 7533. In June 2020, farming villages will have jurisdiction over six administrative villages.
The main food crops in Zhongtian township are corn, minor cereals and potatoes, and the main animal husbandry is raising pigs and sheep. In 2018, Zhongtian township has 4 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1959, the farming commune was established.
In 1973, it was changed into farming commune and Fuxing commune.
In 1983, it was changed into Zhongtian township.
In 1985, after the establishment of Pingchuan District, it was under the jurisdiction of Pingchuan District.

By the end of 2011, farming village had jurisdiction over 6 administrative villages: farming, Wuxing, Beizhuang, Baifeng, lapai and Xiaochuan, and 33 villager groups.
In June 2020, the farming village governs six administrative villages: Zhongtian village, Wuxing village, Beizhuang village, Baifeng village, lapai village and Xiaochuan village. The Township People's government is stationed in Zhongtian village.
