Shixia Township

Shixiaxiang is located in the west of Taihang Mountain, on the Bank of Qingzhang River and in the west of Zuoquan county. Its geographical location is 113 ° E and 36 ° n, bordering Hanwang Township and Liaoyang town in the East, Yushe County in the west, Longquan Township in the South and Heshun County in the north. Geology and geomorphology

In Shixia Township, the lower part is brown red thin sandstone intercalated with red mudstone. In the high mountain area near Guantou village, there is gray green long color sandstone in the middle of Triassic system, about 1000m thick. Shixia Township belongs to the earth rock mountainous area, where the huge hills crisscross and the stone mountains are interspersed with each other, the slope is relatively gentle, and the soil is formed by yellow and weathered sand shale. Climatic characteristics

Fluvial soil

Zhanghe River in the Western Qing Dynasty was called liaoshui in ancient times. It was named as Shuiming county when it was set up in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. It entered from the north of HaoGou village in Shixia Township and converged with the Zhanghe River in the Eastern Qing Dynasty through Shixia, Liaoyang town and Sucheng Township, with a length of 60 km.
