Daxing Town

Daxing Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Changling County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the west of Changling County, 48 kilometers away from the county seat of Changling County; it borders qianqihao town in the East, Shuangliao City of Siping City in the southeast and south, Baokang town of Keerqin left wing middle banner in the west, taipingchuan town and 88 Township in the north. The total administrative area is 443.06 square kilometers.

Daxing village was established in 1939, and Yongsheng township was incorporated into Daxing Town in September 2005. By the end of 2018, Daxing had 34970 registered residence population. As of June 2020, Daxing town has 15 administrative villages.

At the end of 2011, the total revenue of Daxing town was 4.4613 million yuan, including 406 thousand yuan of local revenue and 386 yuan of per capita revenue.

History of construction

Daxing village was established in 1939, the seventh district of shuangchangliao Central County in 1946, and the seventh district of Changling County in July 1947.

In 1956, Daxing and Guangrong townships were established.

In February 1958, Daxing Township and Guangrong Township were merged into Daxing Township; in September, it was changed into Dongfeng commune; at the end of the year, it was renamed Daxing commune.

In 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.

In May 1996, the township was transformed into a town.

In September 2005, Yongsheng township was incorporated.
