Shicheng Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Miyun District, Beijing, is located in the northwest of Miyun District, between 116 ° 39'35 ″ ~ 116 ° 53'40 ″ E and 40 ° 29'56 ″ ~ 40 ° 42'18 ″ n. It is adjacent to Miyun Reservoir in the East, xiwengzhuang town in the south, LIULIMIAO town in Huairou District in the west, and Fengjiayu town in Baihe Valley in the north. The town covers an area of 252.8 square kilometers.
In February 1947, Shicheng district was the first district of Yihua county. In August 1949, it belonged to the first district of Miyun County. In 1950, it belonged to the Fourth District of Miyun County. In 1953, the district was changed to Shitang Road, zhangjiafen, lianhuaban, huangyukou, yingchengling, Wangzhuang and ganhechang. In 1956, it was merged into five townships: Xiwanzi, Wangzhuang, lengfengdianzi, zhangjiafen and ganhechang. In February 1958, it was merged into xizhuangzi, Nancun and huangtuliang. In September 1958, it was incorporated into Quanfeng people's commune. In May 1960, it was incorporated into Fengjiayu people's commune. In June 1961, Shicheng people's commune was built. At the end of 1983, the communes were transformed into townships. In 2001, the township was transformed into a town. By the end of 2018, Shicheng had 5900 registered residence population. As of June 2020, Shicheng Town has one community and 15 administrative villages, and the town government is located in Shicheng village, Shicheng Town, Miyun District.
In 2011, the total industrial output value of Shicheng Town was 10.638 million yuan, 47.2% lower than that of the previous year. In February 1947, Shicheng district was the first district of Yihua county.
In August 1949, Shicheng area belonged to the first district of Miyun County.
In 1950, Shicheng area belonged to the Fourth District of Miyun County.
In 1953, the Fourth District of Miyun County was changed to Shitang Road, zhangjiafen, lianhuaban, huangyukou, yingchengling, Wangzhuang and ganhechang.
In 1956, Shitang Road, zhangjiafen, lianhuaban, huangyukou, yingchengling, Wangzhuang and ganhechang were merged into Xiwanzi, Wangzhuang, lengfengdianzi, zhangjiafen and ganhechang.
In February 1958, Xiwanzi, Wangzhuang, lengfengdianzi, zhangjiafen and ganhechang were merged into xizhuangzi, Nancun and huangtuliang.
In September 1958, xizhuangzi, Nancun and huangtuliang townships were incorporated into Quanfeng people's commune.
In May 1960, Quanfeng people's commune was merged into Fengjiayu people's commune.
In June 1961, Jiayu people's commune built Shicheng people's commune.
At the end of 1983, Shicheng commune was transformed into a township.
In 2001, Shicheng township was transformed into a town.
