Yushikalasu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Emin County, Tacheng Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the northeast of Emin County, adjacent to kalayamule Township in the East, ermagoleng Mongolian nationality township in the south, saryemule pasture in the West and 168 regiment of the Ninth Agricultural Division in the north. The administrative area is 468.60 square kilometers.

By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of 6970 people was in the city of Yu. As of October 2019, yushikalasu town has 13 administrative villages and 1 animal husbandry team.

History of construction

In 1950, it belonged to three districts.

October commune was established in 1958.

In 1978, it was renamed yushikalasu commune.

In 1984, it was changed to yushikalasu township.

Yushikalasu town is located at the south foot of eminwurkaxia mountain. The mountain trend is northeast southwest, and the terrain inclines from northeast to southwest. The average elevation of the territory is 800 meters, and the land in mountainous areas is more than that in plains.

Quanshui river is basically a plain snow melting flood in flood season, and it also has a flow of 0.2 m3 / m in dry season; the average annual water diversion of kalayamule river is only about 4000-5500 m3, while the total annual runoff of kalayamule river is 12400 m3, resulting in a large amount of water resources of kalayamule River not being fully utilized in winter and spring. The main water source for irrigating crops is the water flowing into kalayamule river.
